If anyone is looking to get an action cam like the GoPro, but doesn't want to pay GoPro pricing... Woot.com has the Swann Freestyle HD today for $135. I was going to buy one of them, but found out the other day I'm getting a GoPro for Christmas.

My rear also has been creaking for about 3 years now. Never did figure that out, either, lol. Perks of old and tired car, I guess.
I am home till Friday, let me know if this week works.2143957454

Do you have any more info on the Eagles Canyon event?
All I know is it is 9th ( I think ? )......I want to say it is an ER deal.

If you email Jerrett he can tell you more.....McShane was the one that told me about it at Crandall. I think it is like $50 or $75 plus some kind of stuffed toy or canned food.

I really want to see if we can get some of us out there to do this.

And yeah, the CHL test forces you to shoot accurately and with some speed, which is what you'll need to be able to do most likely.
Stu, you need to practice some double taps also....they will tell you to shoot like 6-8 rounds in like 15 secs shooting doubles.
Look at the pic to see what your doing wrong to correct for it.

Yeah, I was doing the stuff like 2 shots in 5 seconds, 3 shots in 9 seconds but not to the exact test like it will be.

Looking at that chart, anticipating recoil is exactly what I was doing, especially on the 2-3 quick shots.

I used that diagram religiously. Helped out a lot. I use a sneaky test for anticipation of recoil since most people seem to have an issue with recoil. I can't remember if i showed it to you guys last time or not

the ebay ones you have look longer than the stockers - so they should help out with putting things back into place - are they not longer?

I'm lowered and my boots are shot - so i'll prob replace them with something like the ebay or the megans - - but yeah 400 bucks for those crazy moon ones is crazy -

eBay ones don't help with anything and doesn't fit right. The way it's designed does not allow the cone to seat properly and make contact with the ball joint and the lower control arm. You're going to run into the same issue as me and have free play in your steering knuckles. Get the Duralast (part no. bjl148).

Creepy avatar Chris!

And about the replacement ball joints... I wouldn't buy something that essential to safety with the Megan brand name on it.

I don't think there's an aftermarket arm for that application.

You could always check with the forum vendor L-Fab.
