The mud flaps for the g aren't the same as the z. They look a lot better for the g's. they have a lot of z guys put g mud flaps on their z's too. Looks more like rear bumper valence than mud flaps.

Like the other posts my squeak stops when you push on the dash up close to the windshield. I used this foam from walmart and ran it from side to side and stuffed down between the dash and windshield. There is enough space down there to stuff the whole thing to the point where you just see the front edge. If you dont know better you would think it belongs there.

Or you could use high density foam piece like this.

My damn airbag light came on and started blinking on my way back from midland tonight. That really will drive you insane lol. Light came on when I was still like 250 miles from Dallas. I really hope it's nothing major. This happened on my last z right before i traded it in so i never took the time to track down the root of the problem. Got no choice this time.

Pat, my light came on a couple of times a couple years ago....it was under warranty still....so they replaced the sensor which was bad. It was expensive tho.

Hopefully not your case.

G35 mud/splash guards are much nicer and blend right in with the factory kit.

What's wrong with the Stillen intake? Why do you need a dry filter? These guys on the G has a thread about changing to dry filter.

I'd say wasting money to replace your entire intake just for dry filters.

i dont need a dry filter, i just want them..... dont want to have to jack with cleaning and oiling he K&N ones. the dry filters you either blow them out from the inside or run water hose through it from the inside....

i do like how the stillen boxes are the only ones that are a true cold air intake, but (i know numbers dont matter) they only rate 6hp gain and i got to looking at the Takeda, the way the shields are they use the factor mounting points and has rubber across the top... so it is only open on one side by the fender... with the air rushing in from the top of the radiator area along the hood and the factory inlets i think i will get more air flow..... and its my car and my money so why not

after reading that thread (being from 07-09) remember mine has the dual throttle bodies so the filters are smaller and have a 2.5" opening leading to the tubes the older ones with the 6" opening in the base wont work for mine

i bought a "kit" per se, and the only reason i did is he painted the plug factory colors. what he did was get a metal 7/8 (i think) drain plug from home depot, a rectangular piece of plexiglas, drilled 4 holes in the plexi so some of the prongs held the plug in place (all the other prongs were bent under the plug) and then you attach it to the underside with 3M tape, mine is almost perfectly flush. what i did to ensure that it was water tight, i got black rtv, put the nozzle in the hole where the plug was mounted and filled that entire area until it seeped up around the plug, and then just wiped up residue.... not a single leak or worry for about a year. i also removed my fluid squirter, since no wiper no need for it. i got a plastic plug from home depot, had to dremel it down some, and ran a bead of the black silicone around it before shoving it in the hole in the back glass

I basically had the same kit as posted above. It actually fit and worked really good. Only bad thing is you gotta silicone.

that is why i did it from underneath after it was stuck up with the tape, i put the nozzle in each of the holes, it filled the whole area and pushed up around the plug, the whole underside was black couldnt even see the plug from the bottom anymore... then since i was worried about leaks i ran a bead around the plexi also
