Multiple times. Took it all apart again and installed a A1 Cardone motor instead. Did the reset procedure and reset the pinch protection and lowering of window when opening the door as well, all is well now.

Pretty sure the dragging noise I am here is a front caliper. Thought it was a rear for the longest time, checked both, couldn't pinpoint the noise but now I am getting some warm smells as well from the front wheel. Only thing I can think of is it's dragging or stuck.

Ya if it's a piston not releasing all the way I would disassemble and rebuild. The kits are pretty cheap.

Yeah, not sure I would trust MYSELF in doing a rebuild. Lol. Plus no pressure bleeder to bleed properly afterwards.

Figured maybe handing over a couple of calipers would be easier.

Man that looks like a fun course. Helmet cam is a cool concept, but I gave up on watching that inlay after 3 seconds. Congrats on 2nd place.

Good driving Crispy !

The helmet cam was a bit much...I watched it twice...for each window.

I liked the course...just that I had no grip with my tires.

Crispy is the new person to beat now a days. I think I have peaked and am falling. Pat and Scott need to step up to the plate...Brandon is also coming to life....he beat me also.

so i changed a buddies brake pads yesterday on his Audi, and when i went to put the new ones on i notes that the inside on had an arrow on it. out of curiousity i googled it to see what in the world it meant. well come to find out the arrow is supposed to be pointing in the direction of rotation of the tire, he last had his brakes done at goodyear and the arrows were pointing to the back of the car, wonder if that is what was causing the nasty sqeal and the pads to be wore unevenly..... has any one else heard of directional brake pads?

Still going to have to bleed the brakes if you change calipers. Rebuilds are not bad, its one oring on the piston and a rubber boot. thats it.

They are there to help dampen out brake noise. At least thats what I say online.

Lucky736, I don't like the pressure bleeders...they don't have good suction and waste time...if you can get someone to help....that is the best way to have somebody pump the peddle.

When is the next event for us AutoX'ers ???

Should we do the NTAXS events ? Or move around? I want to do some TT's also so keep that in mind.

NTAXS has only 6 events thru the season...so I would like to do all of them...what about you guys ?

Once NTAXS has 3 events, they take a break until it cools off....so we can do other events after that. So chime in and put your input out there.
We can do so many oth events in the middle of summer.

That sounds good to me Chris. I wanted to make all of the NTAXS events, but I missed #1 because of work. I'm only on call 4 weekends out of the year though, so I should be able to make the others.

I need to check the race calendar now.
