Ha your gonna feel like I did at the last autocross. I didn't even sleep before I went out there. I worked from 8pm-7am that day went home, showered, changed clothes and went out there. I passed out when I got home around 9 that night though lol. I get off at 4 tonight then gotta be at six flags with the misses and her nice tomorrow at 1030 and six flags is about 45 minutes to an hour from the house. I'm gonna try to stop by when we leave six flags though if I get a chance. I think her niece would like seeing the cars for a bit. We shall see though.

but yeah NTB said my car was too low, even for the in-ground alignment. and today i went to PRO-TUNING and they got an regular alignment and they got it on there. thats the reason why i dont like to go to franchised shops. on top of that the prices are wayy over priced. they quoted me " starting at 140.00". and thats a ONE time alignment cause its under some kind of special catagory. but all in all, im glad to see shops like Pro tuning that actually take the time out to get the job done.
too low for an alignment rack? thats ridiculous.
...sounds like they just didn't wanna deal with you because your car is low..
shops like PRO-tuning, actually know there is nothing really they have to do....so its quick easy cash for them.........NTB is just ignorant..
The front camber and caster differences are a clear sign your Compression arm bushing is out:

Also, those toe spec ranges are wrong
Front is (0.0 to .008) inch
REAR is (.043 to .106) inch
where pro tuning got those fractions specs is ???
If your rear is at 1/32 then your at .03125 RED, out of spec, not green........How often do you eat up rear tires just daily driving??
-- Do you have the spc toe bolt? did you elongate the hole with a dremel?? if so? can you take a pic of it? im guessing its all the way to the inside?? no more toe adjustment can be had from it? please get a pic???

Hey everyone, my name is Kyle and I own Pro-Tuning Performance. I was actually the one who aligned Andy's 350Z today. I saw that he was a member of this forum and (after years of lurking) I finally decided to register. I don't own a Z/G, but try not to hold that against me...
Let me start by saying that Andy's 350Z is probably the lowest car we have had on our rack. I never thought we would be able to get the car on the rack and actually told him that we would most likely have to align the car by hand (not fun). Surprisingly enough, we were able to get the car on the rack without any issue.
As for the alignment, let me explain a few things. Andy's car is lowered on a set of Stance coilovers along with a set of SPC rear camber arms, which he installed a few days ago. Unfortunately, he did not install the SPC rear toe bolt so toe adjustments were limited to the factory eccentric bolt. Therefore, in the rear, we were forced leave the camber at -3.8 degrees in order to maintain a reasonable rear toe setting. Once we install the rear toe bolt, we should be able to set the camber and toe closer to where we would like.
On the front, as many of you probably know, there are no factory camber or caster adjustments. Without adjustable front arms, there is nothing that can be done about those settings (besides raise it, but thats not what this car is about). So, we set toe to zero in order to minimize tire wear.
All in all, Andy's car is pretty cool. I have no idea how you drive that thing on the street, especially with Texas roads, but it looks great. As I said today, the alignment isn't exactly what we would like, but its much better than it was. Just let me know if you'd like us to install the rear toe bolt or adjustable front arms. Until then, I think you should be much happier with the car now.

AUTOXERS: pm me if you are interested in getting numbered magnets for your cars. I am getting the magnets for the cost of materials only so they will be cheaper than anywhere else. I need your numbers and how many magnets you want. If you want a specific pattern or design let me know and I can take care of that for you. Just give me an idea of what you want and I will have Michelle design something for you and have you approve the design before printing. If you want a special print there will be a small extra charge for Michelle to do the design. She should be paid for her design work, it's only fair. I'm not sure on that price yet but I can get back to you shortly after I talk to Michelle about that.

My Car Wreck
As some may already know I had a small accident....I just finished all the body work yesterday..
This is before..
This is now - I did all the work myself to save me a ton of cash..I will be rolling like this until I get my bumper (aerosinc) and then Im getting a full paint job - all emblems removed and shaved..
I really want to Thank Chris (fithamoto) who generously donated his bumper for the time being - Thank you Chris - you sir by have been a lifesaver..
Thanks to Jason Z-YA who diagnosed my bent compression rod arms (they were SUPER bent) and after replacing them - My car is straight as an arrow again..I was pulling HARD to left. I have alot of things in store for the ride and I look forward to getting back into Auto-x (next yr) and drifting...

Ok update on magnets. Anything michelle can put in Photoshop can be printed on the magnets so your possibilities are just about endless as far as colors (including background colors chris) and designs are concerned. You can pm me for my number or email address if you have something you want so you can just send me a picture of it or you can tell me what you want and Michelle will design it. I'll have you approve the design and get it printed for you when it's what you want. If Michelle has to spend some time designing it she only wants $5 for a custom design and I really don't think it will more than about $25 for two magnets since all we are paying for is the materials.

on these specs i dont really know yet. but before when i was on oem arms, my tires didnt wear out as fast as i thought. and plus, i change wheels so often i dont even notice the wear. haha.

Bummer it was raining out there....did everyone lose it a couple times & spin out ?

It was fun in the rain just that it sucked because I felt like I was driving at 70% the whole time. First couple runs were slow, then when I cut a terribly marked corner I got mad and started pushing it much more, then I saw the 76 and was like wow I can go much faster than 80.
People were spinning and drifting a lot, but I made sure to keep it under control just to be safe. Still slid around a little and the ABS kicked in near the end on the one turn that was pretty sharp.
It's a pretty big course. Here's the map, a pic I took, and then my 4 times. Got faster each time which is good.

The course looked really slick with that rain on it....so who ran the fastest times of the day ?
I would say you held your own pretty well.

Haha that pic was at the start too, before it started raining again while I ran. There was standing water by that point. Fastest times I remember seeing were around 64-66. Average was probably around 70 for decently fast. A G35 I was with ran a 72 I think, but I wonder if he really said 62. I can post up the numbers once they are released.
