Did someone say Pho?

My office is closed down until Thursday (if it has cleared up by then).

It can definately be interesting sometimes you just can't really make enough to live off of. I'm still waiting for my position to open up at raytheon. They've offered me twice what I make now as soon as there is an available position but even then it's barely enough to live comfortably off of. But I guess no matter how much you make you'll always find a way to spend it.

The person I speak of used to work for Raytheon/TI... but beware they have a lot of turn over ...ie lay offs. I think the HSA contracts start at 22-24 per hr us the 2.50 per hour benefit pay .... depending on experience and qualifications. Just a thought

Ya all raytheon branches outsource security to third party companies like mine now with the exception of the garland office which is where I'll be working. They started with 42 officers and are now down to 16 and can not go any lower so layoffs aren't a problem there. And it's cheaper for them to do in house security there than it isfor contract security so I'm not too worried about them laying everybody off and going to contract third party security. I've been doing this for 2 and a half years now and I've been a supervisor for 27 of those 30 months lol. I started doing this after I got my medical discharge from the army and it's enjoyable but I just need more money and good benefits would be nice lol. Raytheon has tuition reimbursement so I plan on going back to college and getting a better job within the company. I just don't know exactly what I wanna do yet lol

^yep Pat I know about that. He had one of the higher security clearances and work.there for 7 years. I hope it works out for you. If down the road it doesn't pan out, let me know. This contract co. just had several people fail to qualify on the range, so they are looking for people. Some of the longtimers had only carried revolvers and they switched to semi autos... so they failed out this year

Haha, no thanks. Then I'd be without a cat-back. It might give me a reason to get the Bassani that I've always been curious about, but I've got too many other things to spend money on. Looking to buy a house in a couple months.

Hell if it's a shooter they want, ill give em a shooter lol. I don't see how you fail a shooting qual with a semi auto. Some of the same basic principles apply with semi autos as they do with revolvers. Honestly idk how it would be harder to shoot with a semi auto over using a revolver.

Also on the power thing - oncore is doing some scheduled power outages so if lasts longer than 15 mins - you should report it.
