i used to throw the meets together, but i have retired myself from it.... not sure who is going to pick it up. i am in south arlington all the time seeing mom

You mind me asking why you retired yourself from meets-lead? Whoever I saw that had mentioned wanting to have another meet, had talked about checking road conditions, discussing with shop owners/managers about using parking lots, etc. I bet it is a lot of work.
I saw that you bought yourself a Vette, but do you still have your HR? I'm near Sublett and Calendar for the time being. Probably moving to Hurst in a few weeks.
I signed up with my350z in 08/2014 I think, and have just now wanted to become active on the forums. Figured it was time to come out of hiding/troll mode

Congrats on your Z purchase and on joining our forum! We should have a meet sometime soon now that you mention it. Stu was checking out the roads but no updates on it yet. Travis used to plan the meets but I think he wasn't happy with the turnout at the last meet, lol. I know what it's like to put a meet/event together only to have like 3 people show up, so I don't blame him. Anyway, hopefully, we can meet up and talk Zs soon.

Thanks for the welcome, and sounds good about an upcoming meet! I could imagine the crapiness of putting a lot of effort, then only a few people actually showing up. I don't want to be one of those guys so don't plan the meet for a bit lol. I don't want to go to a 350z meet without my 350z...
Does anyone know of anyone else local that are into Datsuns as well? I know of a few people around the metroplex, just wondering if there are others who are into both the older and newer. They're all beautiful to me, been in love with Z for the last 17 years.

Still need to find some good routes for a cruise. The weather has made it difficult as well with all the rain. I was thinking I could film some possible routes too so people know what to expect.
If you know any good driving areas, especially more central to DFW as I've been looking north of Dallas, then post 'em up!

. Remember driving to Garland when I worked over there...dodging holes/*******s, animals, etc lol. Last night swerved coming onto my street to avoid a good sized turtle who parked in the middle of the road, coming home from a blacksmithing meet. All the rain makes them think roads are ok to chill on. Would've been nasty if I contacted, especially if I was in 350. Don't even want to think about it if I was lower.

I am new to the board and live in Grand Prairie. I have a 2008 350Z roadster and a 2013 370Z roadster both are pearl white. I also have an older 2002 Turbo WRX I play with.
Are the any meets tonight or Sunday drives tomorrow?

If no one takes over setting up meets over the next year i may start trying to do something with it. Right now inbetween fighting the VA with my attourney, work and trying to take care of "honey doos" not quite ready to help out. Hopefully i won't have to work by the time another year is over and will have free time to help get a dfw community up and going.
If someone does pick up the spot between now and then i will just help out where i can once my time frees up

Who's Z is that you parked next to? Looks like he's on RPF1's. Have you not have to get the car inspected Stu? They didn't say anything about the tail lights?

RPF1's threw me off at first, but that's what I spotted as I drove past and pulled in to see who it was. I think I have to do an inspection in/by August.
