Hey guys, sorry its been awhile. Z got in a wreck, so I had to get a new car. I got a mini cooper s. I will be going to Arkansas this weekend and will be doing the pig trail. Anyone is welcome to join. We are going saturday. My friend is riding a bike, so we will not be driving super hard.
It's definitely not active in here anymore. Got any pics of the Z?
I see, like a ghost town, compared to how it was before.
Z is all stock from what I can tell, I’m glad to have one back though.
The car was a trade in my father did for me to get rid of a truck I’d been complaining about. (He traded my truck as a Xmas gift, handled the down payment on it) and now I’m paying for a Z instead of a truck I don’t want.

I’ve been browsing around here, tech area, marketplace... no joke man, day of the Z passed? Or just most of those that were truely enthusiastic about it all moved on.
370 area is mostly about not liking the styling prior to its release, some who do some who don’t. Nothing what I was expecting, experiences, tweaks, commentary on features etc.
any idea what happened?

Getting cheaper so younger kids are getting them and trashing. Yeah the local forum died off, meets i used to put together were good for a year......then ended up just being a handful
i know alot of local guys have moved on to other platforms, me included
That’s understandable, it takes some energy to get a meet going. Honestly, the most fun I’ve had at one was the tech meet at JasonZ-Ya’s place. There were so many Zs people working on them, it was cool to see all the different jobs going on.
There should have been more, but I think some no showed or parts didn’t arrive on time.
Aside from that, going real old school hanging with Godzilla, 3hree5ive0ero, and the others in 06 to 08 were unbeatable. Some of the best times. I think we had meets every week, the local Nissan dealers would have us over and we’d park all in the service bays, hanging out there, drawings etc.
But I totally get the younger group moving in. I don’t even want to start on that.
Well, there are at least 3 of us lol.
I kept running across another nismo 370 around my work area, was curious if he/she was on here

I haven't been on the forum much, my z still has a blown engine and not sure when I will be able to order my new engine. Reading the forum when I can't drive or work on my z gets depressing but i still pop in from time to time. It has been painful watching the forum slowly die over the last year or so.
Glad to see there is still a few people somewhat active in the erea.
As far as z's getting cheap my son found 8 in the erea for under 5k. Won't be long till the value starts going up again as these youngsters total out 90% of them.

I also want to contribute to the tech area of the 370 forum, as scheduled maintenance comes around. I didn’t see a lot of that going on either

This last week of the year has been the most active all year for the DFW Lounge thread. LOL
I really only check the forum when I get on my laptop and that's rare nowadays. It's still my homepage so I see it by default, but there's never any new posts.
As for the tech section, there are old threads with lots of info on the 350Z. As for the 370Z I can't help ya there. I still have my '05 350Z and Jake and Jason Z-YA might be the only other guys that still have theirs. Jason is back in San Antonio though.

Good, just trying to get ahead in life at this point. Good to see that some of us are still around. I don’t plan on going anywhere, hopefully we can stir up the forums a bit
I’ve rubbed a couple coat of Zaino Z5 with the ZFX accelerator additive mixed in, thought I’d toss a couple pics of that up. I don’t know if anyone is interested in such things, and if you are and don’t know how or haven’t applied it before, I can do a run down on it. I’m sure a search would yield it but it might be nice to have something updated.
I completed the first oil change since ownership, but left my camera at the office, not going to drag my iPad under the car, so, next time... definitely not as easy as the 350 was.
