I know, I set it to ECU. I want to know why I am having all those knock counts so I took out the timing and am just using the a fuel map. I wanted to see where my stock timing was so I could mess with the utec timing.. But I always got knocks in that rpm range..

I have a +2 advanced timing map but the utec pulls timing within that 6000 rpm range when I get knock.. I posted this up to show you what I am dealing with. Was wondering if the ECU was pulling timing or not and if it was seeing the knock too or ??

Thanks for the responses

I know you've probably checked this, but is the ground from the solenoid/map switch molex plug in a good ground location? I've read a bunch of posts of UTECs pulling timing or behaving erraticly in this exact RPM range due to the ground not being properly connected from this plug.

Ken do you know if you are actually getting knock or not?

Seems like if you are having a genuine knock issue, and you are experiencing it on Map 0 ("bypass"), then if it really is genuine you would also experience it with the UTEC disconnected completely.

Check that ground...I just have a feeling..and I hope it's that simple.

I am grounded foe shizzle.. utec is pulling timing when its not set to ECU.

As far as getting real knock or not, I am not sure.. that is why I posted the log so Julian could comment on it. I was wondering since the ECU isnt retarding the timing.. At least it doesnt look like it is..
