If the DD is setup per DD's instructions, they tend to read about 7-13% lower than a dynojet. If the shop uses "additional" correction factors, then the numbers might be the same as a dynojet. I would ask them about this.
On our dyno, the rev-up engines make about 225whp on our Dyno Dynamics dyno. I imagine this would be closer to 250whp on a DynoJet.
In regards to gear, for a comparison test, i would try to use 5th gear. You could ask him to make 2 passes in 4th gear, and 2 in 5th, and see if there are any differences.

edited to add: Where did you get your numbers from? Tailpipe, 3r party w/b, or oem w/b's? I pretty much just use the oem's right now. I'm not sure how great they are, but tailpipe really isn't the way to go for reliable numbers either it seems.

so for the 06 models of the G/Z the ECU adapts well to bolt on's. Reason I'm asking I was looking to getting some to adjust A/F ratio with these. I'm getting my exhaust this weekend, (HKS) and I already have my intake. But I was planning on running HFC's and Header soon too. With the HFC and Header will the car run too lean to drive around safely, and can A/F be controlled by some simple like the Apex VAFC, tempereraly till a stand alone or piggy back is added.

Hello Rick!
The older Dyno Jet 248 (most common) are 15% to 17% higher than Dyno Dynamics. The newer Dyno Jet products out on the market are 12% to 15% higher than the Dyno Dynamics numbers.
As far as what gear they tested the car in on that dyno... it does not matter.
A Dyno Dynamics dyno actually physically measures power output (torque). So the gear the car is tested in does not matter. The output will be the same in 3rd, 4th or 5th.
On a Dyno Jet 248 the dyno most people are used to seeing vehicles run on. All acceleration testing needs to be done in a 1 to 1 ratio normally 4th gear on most cars. The reason being is that the acceleration rate of the roller is being measured and changing gear ratios will change the acceleration rate of the roller thus effecting the calculation of power output on a Dyno Jet.
