AMS tuning 350z's??
 

AMS (yes the evo tuners) also works on nissans, however does anybody around the chicago area know if they tune z's? i live in milwaukee, and there is pretty much no reputable tuner anywhere near the area. help me out guys

I'm sure they can tune anything they get their hands on. Best thing to do is give them a call (ask for Chris or Martin). What are you tuning with?

Last time I called them they weren't to enthusiastic about helping me, and I quote "we have to many other things going on to tune a car like that". Very upsetting, but they have there core market and do very well in it. I wouldn't have cared if the guy didn't have such and attitude about it. What kind of system are you looking to tune?

i called, and they said they can try to fit me in, but dont have as much experience w/ z's. i told him im working w/ an xs utec, and he said they have experience w/ those, limited, but experience none the less, so it could work. they claim they do mostly in house reflashes. so i guess itll be a trial and error kinda thing

Those guys are f'n geniuses when it comes to tuning... you'll be fine.

Why not call GRD? I think they are in Naperville and have an extremely solid reputation with the Z and the UTEC. Better than wasting time on an EVO shop that is not real enthusiastic.

^^ hahah where is this grd at?? i dont mind driving 100 or so miles to get it tuned, i just dont wanna run my car w/ just a basic turbonetics reflash.

GRD is one of the few authorized HKS tuners in the midwest. They excel @ tuning utec, unichip, fcon, etc. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Talk to Tuan, he will take care of you.
