Perfect N/A Air/Fuel

Hey guys I have a reflash with all the bolt ons with stock cams and I was wondering what the perfect air/fuel was at WOT. My wideband is saying about 12.0/1 and I thought this was a little rich. The car does really pull though and I haven't had the car dynoed just yet. I hope to when I get back in Florida. Just curious.

12.8 ~ 13.2 from 2500 to Redline is an ideal target AFR for NA.

Is your WB manually re-calibratable or self-calibrating?

Hoooper 08-06-2008 12:50 PM

perfect depends on how ballsy you are. how ballsy are you?

AEM Wideband

It is the AEM which I think is self calibrating......and I feel kinda safe with it at that air/fuel with the Florida heat.

Yeah, 12:1 NA won't hurt anything no doubt, but you're leaving lots of safe power on the table running so rich afr. For a point of reference - FI on the otherhand, you'd want to run around 10.5:1~11:1.

Cannysage 08-08-2008 08:38 AM

13.5 is about ideal. I was running 14.5 on my NA and it was a bit lean and it was still nothing too much to worry about.

So what is it ? 12.8 ~ 13.2 or 13.5 ?

I would assume anything from high 12's to low 13's is optimum.

twin001 08-15-2008 04:18 PM

truth is you will vary between a given range. It will never be exactly 13.4 throughout the entire RPM band, but rather fluxuate depending on your mods/tuning. Do you have datalogging capability? Ideally you want 14.7 parts of air per part of fuel, that is the optimum stochiometric ratio. Like Gothchick said, when you go FI though, you want to run a little rich to safegaurd against detonation.

10.5 is kinda rich....you probably want it 11.0-11.5 ish

andrew16639 08-26-2008 05:29 PM

what about for a TT setup.

11.0 is as rich as you need to go...as for how lean that depends on you and your tuner. I've always been at 11.8 wot, but thats just me

infinite 09-04-2008 10:38 PM

I'd like to be at 13.1-13.2 if Possible, that would be about perfect for a N/A Z

silver350tn 09-06-2008 11:07 PM

14.7 is where you wanna be at idle and cruising

ADMAN 09-08-2008 09:13 AM

I'm 10.0 right now. I'm still logging, though.

silver350tn 09-08-2008 09:40 AM

what is everyone shooting for na air/fuel at wot?

infinite 09-08-2008 10:24 AM

My car is running rich at WOT 11's

silver350tn 09-08-2008 09:33 PM

mine is altering from 11.5-12.7 at wot i just dont know which way to adjust to get it dialed in

bswanny 10-05-2008 08:20 AM

I'm N/A and running 10.0 to 9.9 on WOT. How can you change this? I have a Cobb Accessport, would that work? Thanks.
