AVERAGE stock 350z dyno numbers??
hey guys i never really had a chance to dyno my 350z stock...if any of you have done so..what were your results? i was told on a mustang dyno it would be around the 190whp area..and of course dyno jet would read higher..

Every dyno reads differently. Find your local dyno and report your own results.

oh well i forgot to mention..that its too late for me to dyno a stock 350z because i didnt think of this before..but i already modded quite a few things on the car..so thats why im asking since i already missed the chance to dyno my 350z stock..

ask your local dyno operator what a stock Z will dyno
every dyno can be calibrated differently, so it's hard to get a norm |
235-240rwhp stock for non rev-up DEs on most dynojets.
|
On a Mustang dyno you can change info such as weight of the car and it will change the numbers. On a Dyno Dynamics you can input a correction factor that will alter numbers. Generally a Mustang and a Dyno Dynamics dyno will read lower than a non load system like a Dynojet. Dynapacks read high as they are more hub power with no weight from wheels.
On avg from what Ive seen... Mustang: 190-210whp Dyno Dynamics: 205-212whp Dynojet: 230-240whp - I dyno'd 240whp stock on one, 262 full boltons + tune Dynapack: 240-255whp - had a buddy Dyno 254whp stock on one This is all for DE motors, 6MT You can basically alter all of those systems except for a Dynojet in which the difference between actual, SAE, STD are not gonna be huge for a stock Z. |
^^^wow 190-200 on a mustang

237 whp @ sound performence in chicago. now sure name of the dyno. It was with wheel on and roller type on the ground where my car got hooked up.
237 with jwt intake. 03 de |
240 SAE on a dynojet with JWT pop charger and 3" exhaust. Revup V.2 w/ 10k miles on the clock.
|
<---242whp SAE on a dynojet with just a pop charger. Alberto's break down is pretty much right on the money.

Approx 260whp, 230wtq dynojet, stock High Rev. FWIW

My Nismo did 240ish whp on a mustang, with just fujita intakes (afr was way rich).

<---- 262whp on dynojet stock, 101 degree day.

nice info..appreciate it people..ya i just put down 342whp and 331whp on a mustang dyno..by the way i have a greddy tt kit on the 350z..that was at 8.3 psi..so im not sure what that would be on a dynojet..i was told in the low 400's..but thats pretty nice from 190whp on a mustang dyno from what you guys are saying to 342whp now on the dyno..nice jump..

Why approx? Because of Denver altitude? The power is what it is. . .

What numbers are rev-ups making at the wheels?
