Turbonetics tuned with Uprev
I finally got the Pro-Tuner software from UpRev and started taking on a couple of clients.
So far my first turbo client is a base Turbonetics kit with a built motor (9.1 compression) and only 8psi. The Z came in with a stock tune, as he had gotten the tuner kit. Final outcome was 357hp and 338tq.. Since we couldn't get anymore boost outta the turbos, we're installing a manual boost controller and should be going from there, hoping to get around 16psi and hit 450s.. http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...00501-1634.jpg The thing that got me sold on UpRev was that the customer doesn't need any expensive piggybacks or other EMS systems to control FI on Nissans, where as everyone was telling him he needed one! Just thought id bump this up.. i am a pro tuner in Kuwait and the Middle East area. If anyone needs a tune I've got an AWD1100 Mustang Dyno at my disposal. Not the old dynojet that wasnt loaded.
Ive tuned several more vehicles with forced induction. Stillen stage 3, several turbonetics, vortech and a greddy kit. With the updated rom editor, no more heat when boost is released. We have full control over fan on settings and with our loaded mustangdyno, we can tune cam timing precisely. Let me know if anyone is interested. Bader Norris-MEP |
