What is with people on this forum? It's to show that Uprev can make a good two step. **** I'll post the maps if I have to so you can do it yourself... christ. Set Rev to 4000, timing to "00" at 3600 and up, fuel comp to "125" at 3600 and up, fuel target to "10" at 3600 and up. Happy? Now quit bitching.
I am using Map 2 for the two step function and Map 1 for the regular map. Easily switchable while driving or when preparing to launch the vehicle. |
i would be a bit worried about high temps in the headers, but i guess every once in a while it wont hurt

I am using Map 2 for the two step function and Map 1 for the regular map. Easily switchable while driving or when preparing to launch the vehicle. Most videos you see out there of UpRev 2 Step was just your typical rev limiter setting which really was a bit scary since it's cutting out fuel. With your way of tuning it your enriching fuel prior to cutoff so if anything it will be cooler on the system even though flames come out. I had thought of doing this very same thing with a friend of mines who's way better at tuning than me but we never really got around to it. I normally rather Track my care on road course so there was no real need for it but it's a cool option to have for those test and tune days at the 1/4 mile on events. So would this technically work at different RPM setting just by shifting the numbers say for example I'd like to setup my launch at 3000rpm: -Set Rev to 3000 -timing to "00" at 2600 and up -fuel comp to "125" at 2600 and up -fuel target to "10" at 2600 and up I see you set your Rev Limit Fuel Cut Off at 4000rpm. So what rpm did you set your Fuel return at? |
so to actually drive this, you need to have your hand on the shifter as well as hit the cruise control button to shift to map 1 to exceed the 2 step rpm?
Sounds safe and simple. |

Thank you very much for this! Now I can use 2 step for both my NA and turbo Z's

Fuel cut at 4000? Fuel restore rpm?
What is your fuel cut/restore set at?
