Default 03 350z dyno tune

Hello all had my pretty much fully bolted z tuned here in S.A. Tx....here is the final pull....... I must say I was disappointed and surprised at the same time.
Mod list
K&n intake kit (under hood not fender/bumper)
MD 5/16 spacer
Mrev-2
Light weight crank pulley
Headers (unknown not long tube)
Full dual exhaust h pipe (unknown brand) not cats that I see
Has a decal under hood that says F1 racing clutch/flywheel. I just purchased the car and already came with exhaust and headers I added the other items so I'm not 100% sure it has a light flywheel clutch ETC. when I got there it made 263 as is but really lean on lower rpm. So at peak only gained a whopping 3 HP
BUT the whole curve it picked up looks like 10-12 across the midrange....
So I was happy with 1st pull and 263 and expected to be closer to 275-280
But NOPE. 12.5-12.6 was the A/F ratio he dialed in. So after researching most these DE z come in 220-230 so 266 seems about right with what I have......
That's not my issue the car does indeed feel amazing smooth and quicker than before. BUT The dam track 1/4 times say completely diff story. With this power the dam car would only trap 100-101! That's stock power! At this point I'm freaking clueless! HELP! 14.2 14.3 2.2 60fts from what I've read 266 is HR stock hp sooo it should trappings 104-105??? The only thing that may have hurt is when I was coming home I got a blinking CEL and a bad coil. Swapped out and all is good didn't have a coil issue when I got there ... but still a dam mystery WTF is going on.
Oh and it's an uprev tune I failed to mention

I'd rely on your dyno #'s, rather than 1/4 mile times. Atmospheric conditions, track conditions, suspension/tire setup and other variables can affect your times. But your dyno #'s are strong for a street driven car.

Awful advise. 1/4 mile is much more important than being a dyno queen

I stand by my statement. 1/4 mile time are highly dependent on reaction time and other external factors. But in my world, lap times around 1.5-4.0-mile road circuits are what's important. There's a whole new range of variables to that! But I rely upon (somewhat repeatable) dyno data to not only set a baseline, but monitor powertrain developments.

I think your tuner could have done better with regards to those numbers.

My 04' was 258whp 245tq with everything but headers before boosting so you have good numbers. Enjoy the car and work on your reaction time and maybe better tires.

I can't seem to wrap myself around how majority of the people make 250-260 on a de. Is it due to not getting quality parts or the tuner ?? My 04 currently makes 269whp 250tq and it's still untuned.

Thanks for the responses! The range of power this makes with bolt ons seems about right, I agree that the tuner could have done more, they only made like 4 pulls and got it to that number. My friend had his 370z tuned by uprev in Austin
On his car the spend several hours and pulls tuning it. If course his car is way more powerful (323whp) but it's a 3.7 he got there making 280 left with 323.
BUT like other have said and from all I know I'm not concerned so much with ET
Rather MPH. With 266 is SHOULD be 104-105 my guess. I've read of Zs with 280 trapping 107 108. So leaves me in this situation. My dumbass should have just waited (long wait at uprev) and went other place instead.

On a anither note I ordered MD art pipes and sent out throttle body to get ported 4-5 mm at Maxbore. I'll report back when I get in to do anither pull

269 on a mustang dyno sounds really good , mine was a dyno jet. From what I've read Mustang dyno read lower

If you're replacing stock cats with ART pipes, tuning for ART pipes and that throttle body will make a big difference. Definitely be in the mid to high 270's. But regarding the 1/4 mile time, I'm wondering if the intake heat soaked between runs? Or if atmosphere, elevation, etc is to blame for the time. I remember when I had my z tuned for ART pipes, and Z1 m-spec race intake, it made a big impact on acceleration.

No it has unknown test pipes and exhaust so that's exactly what I'm hoping happens mid high 270s. I actually use a bag of ice after a few runs to keep the heat soak out. I'm not st sea level 600ft above and the weather been hot 85-95 deg.
makes no sense actually don't care really about ET but higher mph that matches 260+ rwhp.

I would look into getting the Motordyne aramid gasket. It keeps the intake manifold cool to the touch, and the manifold only heat soaks at idle. I would take pictures of the headers, and exhaust, try to find out which brands they are. I'm thinking the previous owner installed cheap headers, which would have poor merge, and consequently, wouldn't flow much better than stock. Here's the Z1 headers, developed by Momentum Performance. Z1 and Tomei are the best shorties for the z as far as I know. https://www.z1motorsports.com/exhaus...rs-p-6986.html

Oh hell I agree, they're a staying on considering the amount of dam work involved changing them out in freaking happy this car came with them installed already. I see the ART pipes gain power over even test pipes so for 600.00 dam dollars that all I'm doing, I heard few clips of the MD SHOCKWAVE exhaust and WOW that sound amazing! But for 1600.00 ouch! The car is a bit higher that a lot of other dynos I've read so I'm happy with that. One thing I CANT find. Is dyno pulls for a ported/bigger TB, hell for 160.00 sure beats the 09 nwp throttle body PLUS this mod includes where the bolts the hold the throttle blade together and actually machined down and use flat screws for a more even flow over the factory set up. So that is interesting. I know on my 07 Acura tls another guy send his 09 3.7 throttle body to max bore and with that alone he gained 6whp at peak so it made a diff. He said he's done a few DE throttle bodies but no info regarding gains (if any) but for that price VS 300+ u can't beat it.

My only other possible mod that I'm considering are Jwt cams. With these three things I imagine it would get close to 300whp which would be amazing! I've read from 15 to as high as 20 rwhp just from cams alone. Anyone that's installed the C2 cmas please chime in I'd love to know what you experience is with them.

I had JWT C8 cams installed on my '03. With full bolt-on's, and dyno tune, I made 300 whp, and 284 wtq. The C2 cams aren't as aggressive, they'd get you 280-290 whp or so, based on my discussions with Z1 Motorsports.

I need to put my mod list in my sig, but I'm running Z1 m-spec race intake, NWP throttle body, Z1 plenum spacer, C8 cams, Tomei headers, Motordyne ART pipes to resonated XYZ, to Z1 single exhaust. I also have Z1 crank pulley, and rear diff cover, and Z1's clutch paired to Exedy lightweight flywheel.
