Tuning Guidance Help Needed

I need some guidance in regard to K multiplier. I have upgraded from the stock HR intakes to the 3 INCH intakes and want to tune my own vehicle. I recently purchased the OSIRIS UPREV TUNER Edition program. I have the Fuel Target down, but wondering how is the K FUEL calculated, when changing MAF tube sizing. Is there a certain calculator or formula used to help with this? I have stock injectors, test pipes, exhaust, but now 3 inch intakes.

In conclusion... not to sound confusing..

STOCK MULTIPLIER IS 26806 with stock intakes. How can I find out what new K MULTIPLIER I NEED for the upgraded sizing to 3 INCH.

Thanks in advance everyone.

try 32208 and then log it and see where correction is and adjust the k while watching correction and try to get it as close to 100% as possible. rough explanation but should get you pointed in the right direction.

Don't change the multiplier for a different MAF tube size, edit the MAF calibration table. That's its whole purpose. You should only adjust the multiplier for injector change (i.e. fuel input) not airflow changes

Where talking about on the log AFR Correction % right? If its over 100% i would assume would assume lower the K. and if its below, Increase?

Thanks for the help!

AFTER getting the correction as close as I can to 100% lets say, what else should I be focusing on for tuning that kind of increase?

your cam table and ignition

Well it's good to see my advice went ignored.

These are my notes I have left from when I base tuned my Z to get it to the tuner reguarding the k value.

Adjust target AFR
Adjust K value Up = rich down = lean (match AFR with k value as close as you can)
Adjust MAF values Up = longer injector PW Lower = Shorter Injector PW

K multiplier = clean idle. Bigger injectors = lower (27592 stock)

I messed all around with my k value and didn’t see any changes really. Mostly just the AFR target and fuel tables. I never really got the injector pulse adjustments down my self.

For injector size changes yes you need to adjust the value. But for just a change in intake or other airflow mods, leave the k-value alone

Yea I was running 750cc injectors.

But people have ways to calculate exact k value to run. I just pulled mine off of another forum who had a k value chart for the similar injectors I used from the mfg.

Just wondering if anyone would help since this thread is pretty much what i would ask, Im about to install some bigger injectors later on today, Bosch EV14 2200s, and was wondering if anyone had a base Kmultiplier value to use, im currently on 17665 for my 1600cc's and my 3 inch MAF tube via R-rydes Vortech charge pipe. Was thinking round about 10500 or a tad lower.

Can anyone chime in? Much thanks.

Edit: If anyone cares to know, i used a value of 9950 for my Kmultiplier, with fuel comp hovering at 94-104% correction, anything over 10,000 and the car would just push way too much fuel on light load on and off throttle. Mind you im using e85 so results may differ on your application.
