TurboXS DTEC

TurboXS Introduces the DTEC Gauge Package:

In Starter Package functions, the DTEC is a Data Acquisition System.

You can have your choice of EGT Gauge, Boost Gauge, RPM Gauge, AFR and more. A max of 4 digital/analog inputs + 1 TXS Proprietary connection (UTEC or TUNER). The AFR Gauge will work if you purchase one of our Tuner Products. If used with a RPM input you can log your AFR right next to your RPM for easy tuning and reading.

The separate gauge functions can be viewed this as follows:

Each gauge can be recorded up to 30 seconds, without the use of the TBA memory module. A key feature is that each guage is fully customizable. You can change the text to say whatever you want.

Like this:

The total price of a complete gauge set can be in the $600 range.

The Upgradeability functions of the DTEC will allow it be a Fuel Computer, Boost Controller and more. So for you TT Z owners you can have MAP based Fuel Control (rpm vs. map) rather than (rpm vs. tps). As you probably know part throttle full boost is definitely an issue creating very hi EGT's which leads to detonation. To help with that the Boost Control will offer (tps vs. rpm) mapping much similar to our UTEC boost control. So under low throttle conditions you can keep the boost relatively low until higher throttle positions.

We will also continue give you the ability to have multiple maps for on the fly switching between race gas, pump gas, aggressive pump gas.. the choices will be yours.

These will all be available to you without the additional fee of the starter unit investment. The accessories will be additional of course, but expect the total price of the fuel computer and or boost control addition to very competitive with the current market price of the others. So with the addition of some hardware and a software upgrade package you can have yourself a very adaptable engine management package.

As a fellow Z owner I just wanted to bring this to some of you guys attention to take a look at it and give me some feedback.

Thanks,

Jermaine@turboxs.com

How about a similar product with a video output that I can connect to my existing LED display and show 3 selectable meters at one time? (kinda like the old HKS Camp system)

The DTEC in it's upcoming software release will allow you to view multiple gauges.

We will possibly work on a secondary display output from the dtec.

will you support the new DS handheld from Nintendo? Two screens could mean more than one guage visable at once!

e-manage with E-01. These come out cheaper than the total package of the gameboy thing.

We will work on DS support as soon as we can get our hands on a DS unit.

You are not comparing apples to apples.

This is a gauge package all together.

Thanks,

exactly...an E01 is a nice piece indeed, but it is apples to oranges

Do you have to have the gameboy, or can I hook it up to my Kenwood 7015? <M>
