I *might* have a couch if the guy that's supposed to be sleeping on it doesn't get back to me. He has been MIA lately. - not sure how long I should wait. He doesn't even have a cabin number from me yet.
On another note, I just had a new STU-legal clutch installed and now have a used JWT flywheel sitting in my garage. If anyone going is interested in buying it, just let me know to pack it for the trip.

pretty awesome zdayz the weather could have been better, world debut of the Nismo Z, yeah!
On a sad note, there were several accidents there! I hope everyone is ok and makes a speedy recovery!

Since I don't have a FB account, can someone post the story on these? Are the people that were in these cars ok?
I knew about the TT 300ZX that hit a truck, and heard a little about a Z that crashed in some snow. (The people were ok in those IIRC)
I didn't hear anything about GTR incidents.
Of course, rain makes the roads obviously more dangerous, but the roads were a little tricky at some of the dry-ish times. You could start a blind turn with dry pavement and then get met with a shiny-wet piece of pavement as you round the turn.
From Wednesday to Saturday, I think at least two (maybe three) of those days had completely dry pavement on the Dragon for extended periods.

I didn't know about the blue vert! That had to have happened Saturday night, if it's the guy I'm thinking of he's from Ohio, we had talked a good bit Friday night, said he was putting down something in the mid 500's and was looking to push 700 whp on his built block when he got back home. I dipped out of the raffle early to drive Hellbender and I saw him talking on his cell in the ball field, and that was probably 7:30ish Saturday night.
What I heard about the GTR is that it belongs to a dude named Tyler and anybody correct me if I'm wrong, he was looking to sell it to a friend. Friend was driving late Saturday night with Tyler riding shotgun, lost control and rolled it near the end of the dragon. Word is Tyler suffered a broken leg and was taken to ER and was in surgery until the early morning on Sunday, but he's doing ok now. I haven't heard anything about the driver. Like I said, if this is incorrect or if anyone else has more info, please add it.

Well my first Zdayz was awesome. Cold but awesome. It was great meeting several very nice people. And nice to put faces to names.

Concerning the GT-R wreck. Tyler was the owner of the car, he and another individual were out on the dragon saturday night. they wrecked, hit a tree and flipped. Tyler did break his leg. The other individual had minor injuries. Both are OK and recovering nicely. The GT-R is totaled. the important thing is all of the people are ok
