Only if you know how hard that car pulls up top, its faster from a roll then from a dig, oddly enough.

I'm not looking for massive top end, but my car already generally pics up 27-28mph on the big end anyway.

I have a feeling your mind may change when you get it.

It's just that the whole awd turbo thing is so ****ing appealing, on top of being much cheaper to mod.

I ran 11.9 @ 115-116mph with 390whp (stock block) in my Z, 100% humidity just after a rainstorm, 90 degrees out. Im sorry to say for a built motor car thats not impressive at all. I have friends with bolt on Evo's with tunes running 12.0's...

How much power do you pick up with a built motor?

None.

LMAO? Are you serious?

9psi = 390whp

My lowest power level now is 13psi, and its 581whp on pump gas

Definetely looks like no gains to me

That's because your tune is different. Detonation is detonation regardless of the parts in your motor, and it doesn't change the detonation tolerances just because you put good parts in the engine.

Who is talking about detonation and tunes? A built STI struggling to hit 11's isnt quick around here, sorry I wasnt blown away. Looking forward to what you do when you turn up the boost.

And your really saying tolerances for detonation are not higher in a built motor with good internals over a stock block? Geez....

I don't care if you're blown away or not, your opinion is inconsequential to me. It's pretty obvious you're in here looking for an argument.

No Im not, its a public forum, I simply posted my opinion. You posted a video of a relatively weak STI running sub par times. Did you expect a parade to be thrown for you?

Weak compared to what? The only thing I really expect when I post something on the internet is for some idiot to make an equally idiotic statement.

Weak compared to most factory turbo cars with large turbo's and built motors. The stock block mod'd Evo's come to mind.

Yeah, but it's not an Evolution. We all know the power potential of Evolutions, but it was my choice to get my car just as it was your choice to get yours.

I didnt say your car was a POS did I? I'd have to look online, but Im positive Ive seen much better times out of lesser set-ups for STI's. I dont feel like its impressive given the set-up. What was your 60ft and 1/8 info?
