They should have blown up the BRZ at the start.

Thought the GT500 would do better.

Still a nice finish by the GT-R. Came in at .3 of the exotics at a fraction of the price and out gunned the more powerful GT500.

At the end, the Lambo and GT500 had some sweet sounding exhaust notes. Although, most here would call it "raspy". Whatever.

Seriously, what is the BRZ doing there? Seriously.

BRZ was there so they could get video of all the other cars from behind.

It's part of Motor Trends 2012 "Best Driver's Car" segment.

I wish the GTR sounded better though. Maybe for the R36 they could do a TT 3.8L V8 like the Mclaren or a little bigger

Then where was the Miata? and the 370z? the ZR1? the Boss 302? I think the Boss is more of a driver's car than the GT500.

They need to get off that BRZ/FRS bandwagon.

Don't ask me. Write the editors of Motor Trend. It's their quote I used and they picked the cars.

As for a driver's car, I would have loved to see the CTS-V (wagon 6MT :)) in the test along with the BMW M3 and the as mentioned ZR1. Many cars not featured in the video.

Having not driven all of the cars in the video, I'm skeptical on how the 370z would do against the featured cars in the video.

Pretty sure they were only using cars that were new for 2012 (at least I think that's what they said in the video)
