Here's another Nissan Z33 retro promo I'd never seen before. This one must date back to late '06, as the newer style LED taillights are featured. Automatic tranny fans will also note how Nissan gave you a little love on this one:

Woah, you don't see that very often. The 350Z never came with factory paddle shifters, did it?

Nope, no flappy paddle shifters, just a faux sequential shifter when you move the lever to the side.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I went to a car show a couple years ago and saw a 350Z with paddle shifters, but didn't remember seeing those when they were selling them at the dealership. I figured it was aftermarket, but he had a stock steering wheel and the integration was nice and seamless.

Here's another retro 350Z promo. Minimalism at its best, but maybe Mic can find some subliminal messages in there:

Of course.... "Z car's four generations of rich heritage" is screaming out through the first 20 seconds then it shifts to the future (no pun intended) at :20. (ties in with the "shift _ the future" tagline)

The child imagery @ :20: "Aspire, dream, work hard, get that Z car when old enough and don't drive like an idiot on Thanksgiving.... or ever."

Further subliminal interpretation of that: "Save up for driving school or ask Santa to send you to Bondurant when you get your license."

Hence, SUBliminal.

Or, "Mic is very deep."

Or more likely, "Aww hell, Mic's just fulla horseshid."

Here's an ad for "The Run"- does that make it a promo for a promo?:
