Cruising RPM's w/ 4.083 gears?
 

Can the people here w/ 4.083 gears give me a breakdown of their cruising RPM's?

what are your RPM's at 65, 70, 75, 80mph in 6th gear?

Also, did you replace your bearing during install on a new car?

According to my calculations the rpms at those speeds in 6th should be 2800,3000,3200 and 3400.

Thanks, I'm looking to install them in my G35 and was hoping RPMs would stay right around what they do currently if I drive in 5th gear vs. 6th gear on the highway.

Does installing a new final drive affect the operation of the cruise control in some cases?

I'd assume the same, but someone w/ alot of 1st gen G35 knowledge had told me he'd seen it in some cases and it just seemed to be random w/o any reason so I figured I'd ask about it.

I wish more people would mod the G35's... you guys are my only real source of info, haha.

I mod my g35....but I get most of my technical info here on my350z as well. G35driver is a a really great forum....if I want to know whether my G looks better with the sunroof up or down.

I just came across some information that states the 2nd Gen G35 sedan has 3.69 gears in both the 6MT and the 5AT. Is this the same in the 350Z or is there a way to confirm that it's even true?
