Cusco sway bar kit or F.I. HFC's?!?!
Which should I choose? I can get the sway bar kit for 525 sent to my house or I can get the fast intentions HFC's for 530 sent to my house. What y'all think?

I think you should choose if you want slightly better handling or slightly more power.

Any more info on the rest of your setup/mods? Is your goal more HP or better handling? Sways may require you to upgrade your end links, might want to research to see if you need to with the Cusco Sways as that just means you will need to spend more money :dunno:

The only thing that is stalling me on this decision is the fact that the HFC's are offered at an awesome price right now and I don't wanna regret letting that sale go EDIT: Car is a stock 2007 Touring btw. I forgot to mention that. |

Well to be honest I got my Z after having a 520hp camaro ss that had horrible handling. So I guess handling is my main concern
Probably handling now that I actually think about it. And no there isn't any hardware for the cusco because it uses the stock parts. I'd replace the endlinks if you plan on dropping it. Unless the sway bars cause your endlinks to go bad I wouldn't worry about it much.

Lol I know seems stupid...but I went to the suspension section and looked at the sway bar reviews, and it was stated that phrase you bolded from me...If you have a site you can point me in the right direction to get some endlinks then please feel free to.
They sell like hot cakes :icon17: I have them on my Z. |
Tough choice. I've done both (different brands, but....) and I would do the sway bars first because the difference is more noticable. The sway bars balanced the handling, and made entering corners a lot more enjoyable. The hfc's will add 10 hp +/-, which in the scheme of things is not that noticable. Hfc's are also known to introduce rasp. On the sway bars, I'm still using my factory end links. I figure when I have issues with them, I'll replace them, but not until then.

sway bars should be one of the first things you upgrade on a car, and cusco's are one of the best if not the best for the Z....

sways for sure
|
Why not get the Hotchkis sways for around $300? Then you should have money left over for endlinks possibly..
|
EDIT: Nevermind. I just read that you already bought sways. Good choice.
|
Good choice. I did TP's first, and sway bars second, and in my next car, sway bars will probably be the first thing I do to the car. I have cusco sway bars, and trust me, you're buying probably the best kit on the market. 350EVO doesnt sell their model anymore, that used to be good too.
