Default Stillen Crank pulley?

Has anyone tried the Stillen Crank pulley? Its available in two versions. Standard and underdrive sizes.

I know AH stated he had no gains with the Unorthodox crank pulley. What do you guys think? Same results with the Stillen?

It seems so pointless, even I won't try it out, and that's saying something.....

I may try the underdrive pulley and post up a review. 20% underdrive should not see any issues with that right? They claim it only weighs 1 lb vs the stock weighing in at 4.72 lbs The standard light weight pulley weighs in at 1.32 lbs

Its only $165 bucks + $43 for the belt. Not like its gonna break the bank. I won't do it for sometime tho! My priority right now is to have my exhuast installed. Then have the car tuned if a shop is within a reasonable drive.

Then I would take on this project. So by then, I'm sure someone will have a review before me.

Hmm well A.H. does have a point. I also have the UR Standard size lightweight crank pulley and it didn't do squat. However this one has 20% underdrive... going to be minimal gaines if any. But if you have the money and the time to install then go ahead and buy it, im interested in a review. lol

I did order one of these up. (underdrive pulley kits) I will have it installed this week with my headers, HFC"s and dual exhuast. I'm only going to do a final dyno of 3 pulls. Not going to do a base. Shop is booked pretty tight and I'd rather not pay the extra cash to have 3 sets of pulls on the butt dyno.

I'll have pics and results hopefully on Friday.

Then I look forward to finding a shop to have the car tuned.

Don't underdrive pulley's cause crank failure over time? Something to do with a harmonic dampener right?

not a matter of info. that motor is internally balanced yes. but the other parts balance out with also. the flywheel we all like to changed is balance with the motor also. i have not heard of damage with changing the flywheel but i have with the front crank pulley. do a search haha that was maybe year and a half ago.
