I love seeing hr's making 35 to 40 more hp but the same trq as a de lol... still wanna line up with one and roll race just to see how much faster they are

Yea lol hrs need a tune to get that bump in Tq. That was my old dyno sheet I really need to redyno then add long tube headers and tune. LOl I lined up against a few de before. If I remember correctly 2 de when I was bone stock and one de 2006 when I had gears and intakes. Only one knew what a hr was and why I walked em so badly lmao.

Yea prolly off the line when tq matters more. In a roll hr just keeps pulls.

Yea you have a monster hr lol I need a tune to bring out my tq. Didn't dyno with full bolt ons but am guessing at least 260 tq.

I know this was brought up in very beginning of op's thread but we at UPrev we do dyno pulls in 4th gear for M/T and my dyno sheets show a 1.05 ratio in that gear.

One of our guys there has a 370z with just stillen intakes, custom 3" exhaust and PPE long tubes and dynoed at 330whp, PPE long tubes being his biggest gain bolt on.

I know its a 370 and not a 350 but in all our runs the PPE long tubes give the most gains, all others show very little improvement over test pipes on a N/A car.

Also not sure if they have re-adjusted your AFRs but after about 4500 rpm you want to be real close to 12.8 on AFR ideally. Lean makes more power but also does damage.

Question, does changing rear gears effect what gear gives best 1:1 ratio?

Wow 330 whp is pretty good. Yea as of right now ppe makes the best long tubes for 350z and 370z. But that might change when Motordyne releases their long tubes.

Am not good at reading charts but how are you able to tell just like that. That dyno was only with long tube intakes. Well yea I heard that it does change your final drive. So if you redyno in 5th after gears it might show a loss. Its really confusing. I did not show a loss. I guess it depends on the dyno

Its on a dyno jet. 370z with cai intake made around 292 so it seems pretty accurate. Getting a tune in a month or so. Thanks man. WIll post up dyno sheet tomorrow.

Here is the dyno sheet guys. File 183 was in 4th gear. 185, 186 and 187 was done in 5th. 186 my numbers were low because car slipped on dyno. My tires were a bit wet from rain.

Correction factor was 1.06, meaning the actual number produced was 6% less. I know it's hot and humid as **** right now in south FL, but the actual numbers were:

301 / 1.06 = 283.96

Still, 284 whp in this weather is great, car is making soild power.

So even the 370 that made around 290 is actually making only 273. Or you meant that because it was so hot if that correction wasn't used it would have made 283. I never knew about that. Don't know much about reading dyno charts. Thank you, car is running great. Will be getting a tune soon.
