Old man get off my back closest track is over an hour away jesus christ whats your problem. Our track has been closed for months now. For an old man you sure do act childish. If you want to see 1/4 mile times go run it yourself or go in the 1/4 section of the website. And do not tell me about your glory days at the track 40 years ago no one cares. You have a serious problem bro and do not bring up your childhood accident again I do not care.

Looking forward to the results. What does your tuner charge for a dyno tune? I'm ready to tune it soon.

Thanks king. Even the thread name has the word dyno in there, not 1/4 mile times.

Its around $550 - 600 for everything...the software and the tuning session. Retune is around 200 - 250. Oh thats good, what do you have done?

I been holding off on reporting on this or awhile now but my car lost close to 20 whp by going to 3inch. Yea I know Murray gained power but for some reason I lost power. Extremely disappointed to spend so much money to only go backwards. Don't really know what else to do at this point. Car has 60k miles, am even thinking of getting a 370z lol maybe its because am disappointed/depressed that my car lost power.

What do you guys think?

I felt the same way when I was running stillen headers art pipes and Motordyne TDX V2 with my 264/264 camshafts and hit 322 WHP 270wtq. Then after installing PPE long tubes my power went dramatically lower to about 309 WHP 265 wtq then spent even more money to buy Z1s "power making set up" Z1 headers with Z1 test pipes and only got back 311whp and 270wtq. So I know how you feel, I should have just stayed with my first set up.

Exactly man it is the worst feeling ever. To know you had something and now its gone. Not everything works for everyone. Most people would think that you would have gained power by going with ppe long tubes. What set up are yo running now? did you eventually go back to your original set up?

My set up is the last one imentioned Z1 headers and test pipes and TDX V2. And since the car wil be going through a big transformation (twin turbo) I am going to leave it like that for now. Since the appointment is this coming weekend.

Did you ever get the issue with the loss of power with big intakes resolved?

Do you happen to have any video clips of your current setup Manny? Curious to hear the TDXv2 w/Z1's headers...

3 inch intakes will be taken off in 2 weeks. Will be selling the set for 170$ shipped. These are good but just not as good as my CAI injen set up. Great for someone who is scared to hydrolock.

I should try them against the stock airboxes and see what the gains are like. Maybe we can work something out.

Yea we should be able to work something out..I can know 70$ off or you can help me with the install of a future mod and I give it to you for free. From my understanding am thinking that my cams aren't aggressive enough.

Just curious, did you upgrade the valve train (springs and retainers) when you installed your cams?

That's actually what went wrong, they installed the valves without having sent them to a machine shop and getting the valve seats machined to match the valves so the moment they started up my car it sounded like crap!!! They even said they were driving my car for hours at a time ( they were convinced the noise would go away) did not happen. After I took it the Uprev's hands the discovered a bunch of metal shavings in the oil pan (obviously scratch the crap out of my Cylinder walls. So I bought a brand new VQ35HR from courtesy Nissan and installed cams by themselves. So instead of trashing to effd up block I had it sleeved and built. So no my N/A build had only cams installed.

I wish had done one before I took it get Beast mode installed. I removed the axle-back sections and bough and installed the V1 version (3" straight pipes) if got very loud which I love because she's my toy not a daily. Only video I had is the old one with stillen headers and ART pipes (best N/A set up IMHO 322whp)

well, we will soon see how my setup goes. im doing z1 headers, tomei 272 cams with 10.8 lift, cosworth oil pump, ill get it tuned once they are installed and keep you guys posted. getting uprev next week. ill be running a seperate tune with higher octane with a crap load of advanced timing. if i max out the stock injectors which im not sure if i can. i will order injectors and pump as well and retune it. see what i can even push out on stock compression. its all just a test and theory for me.
