Help! 295/35/19's won't fit! What will?

First, let me say that I have the Eibach Pro-kit springs, which lower the car 1".

Okay, so I went to Atlanta to pick up my wheels yesterday. I was leaving my factory 17's and picking up my new 19" Axis Milanos.

So, we got everything traded out and I pulled out of the driveway and the tire started scraping on the fender really bad.

The sizes are 19x9.5 and 19x8.5. The rear tires are 295/35/19 and the fronts are 245/35/19.

I'm not really sure what to do with it though. I'm thinking that maybe a 275/35/19 will fit? :helpsmilie: I'm not sure if it will work or not. I could also toy with the possibility of rolling my fender.

I am in a tough spot here and either way, I'll probably end up buying new tires. Does anybody know if a 275/35 will fit under the fender without scraping?

Thanks for the help in advance guys.

not sure of the drop issue, but I know a 275 will fit that rim....guy up here in VA area has the same ones with 275s on them (kcobean is his screenname, I think). and congrats on the rims. I was actually seriously considering getting that set :)

Howdy!
Yes, you are having the rubbing problems because of the 295's. Fat tires are nice, but you need to either drop to a 275 (which I have and don't have rubbing problems with, also with Eibach springs), or get your fenders rolled. Even rolling may not help if the tire is sticking out far enough to hit the outside wall of the fender. I personally recommend the 275's. It will solve your problems and they did a damn fine job on the Tail of the Dragon this last weekend. ;)

Thanks! That answers my question!

Now to find out what rubber...

Also, Kcobean...what profile are you running 35, 40?

I have the Bridgestone S-03's and they did an awesome job. No squealing, and very predictable grip.

35's front and rear. That keeps VDC happy. Also, my offsets (yours are probably the same) are +15 front and +20 rear.

Just curious guys, what are the offsets for those wheels in the rear?

See my post right above yours.

15 front/20 rear

Thanks for your help man!

One last question...how much did the Bridgestone's run you and where did you get them?

Thanks for the info....for Bridgsetones I buy from www.tirerack.com , or for Falkens which are a good cheaper alternative, or other brands if you want to find the best price check out www.discounttiredirect.com - when in stock you will get your tires in 2-3 business days, and they have numerous wharehouses so you rarely find something out of stock....

I have Eibachs,

+23 offset in the rear with SF-Challenges and 275/35 Toyo T1-S' definitely clears.

Fenders got rolled in anticipation for a 295 setup in back.
Now I wonder if this will clear.

I got my Milanos used with brand new S-03's on them, so my pricing doesn't really count.
