19 x 8.5 All around... What's the Disadvantage??
I'm planning to purchase a set of 19" x 8.5 +37mm... All around....
just wanna know what's the disadvantage of having Non-staggered 19" wheel.... My car is running non-Bremo brake.... thx... Sin |
It doesnt look as good....thats all I can think of.

It won't be as pushed out to the fenders as a lower, more extreme offset. Also, the even size all around will make the Z/G handle much more balanced/neutral. Less understeer characteristics than a staggered setup. There was a great, detailed article about it in Sport Compact Car, when they tested out different setups on their Project 350Z. Also, you will be able to flip and rotate your tires, so you can get much more life out of them.

Will you go with 245-35-19front and 265-35-19rear ?
or 235/255 or not staggered(tires)... |
I think a +37 offset with "only" an 8.5" wide is absolutely ridiculous, it will look like $hit. Why wouldnt you want to go a little wider than a stock tracks rear? And why even consider putting on a wheel that is going to sit so far in? :icon11:
