Yeah....I'm actually asking for your opinions...
Here is the deal: Just before I put my Z in storage I went through an automated car wash to get the underbody flushed....my bad! The wheel grabber thingy marred one of my front wheels. Turns out the carwash had never had this problem before...but probably hadn't seen a lot of low profile tires. The damage is purely surface...but the wheel does require refinishing. Since I sell industrial chemicals and could get all four wheels stripped for nothing (which would normally be rather expensive) I'm talking the owner of the carwash into paying for the professional painting of all four wheels instead of the replacement of the one wheel. I explained that although it could be repaired by a wheel shop...the finish may very well look ever so slightly different than the other three and this would not be satisfactory. He doesn't want to pay the $577 for a replacement OEM (not suggesting he should have to), but suggested that I strip and prep all four and he pay to paint them and he'd be ahead and I'd be ahead.
So...now that you have the background here is the question:
What color should I paint them? I think a dark gunmetal would look sweet. The reason I ask is because I am ultimately getting aftermarket wheels for fitment reasons and want to paint them the highest demand color. If you wanted something different than everyone else....what color would you choose? Last note is that these will be availabel for sale after I have them refinished...possibly to your color choice if you put a deposit down. Otherwise I will paint them the color that gets the highest votes and place an add afterward.
Your preferences????
