Volk TE37's, how big is the lip?
 

I'm looking to pick up a new set of rims and was wondering how big the lip is on those rims. I would be looking at 19x9.5 in the front and 19x10.5 in the back. I had SSR SP1's before and I'm wondering if there is a big difference in the lip size. Thanks.

There will be a lip. Not fat, but enough. Maybe 2.5~3"?

if u want fat lip.. TEs aren't the way to go...

try like GT-C or the Racing Hart J8s.. now those are fat lips.

yeah.. TE's don't have much lip.. but it depends on your offset and width..Phatmitzu's similar LE37's with +22 and 10.5 in rear are about as much lip as you're gonna get with TE37's

Hahahahaha! That cracked me up.

When I was buying wheels, I was told that on the one-piece Volks you'd only get like a 2" lip in the rear, and the very small one in the front. The GT series is the way to go if you want a big lip.

thanks for the input guys. im actually looking to a set of wheels to replace my ssr sp1 professors since they got completely destroyed in a car accident. unfortunately i'm having a hard time get a set now so i was looking for something similar to replace them. anyone have a set of work s2's? those look pretty close to sp1's too.

I think the top Silver LE37 is 19x10.5 +22mm

And the Gun Metal TE37 is 9.5 +22

Yes the Rays Engineering Track wheel

not really... they look totally difference...

it is closest to say the NISMO LMGT4 but with 6 spokes rather then 5...

would you have a pic of both of those side by side?

With +12 offset at the front & +22 in the back, the TE-37s would have a pretty big lip front & back.

that isnt a 19 x 9.5 + 22, unless its a different face, i have 9.5 +22 and the lip is half that.
