I totally agree! they are duramax, I started hitting myself on the head when I put them on. I went with replica because I ripped my authentic chargespeed in half so I didn't feel like coughing up another 500 to crack another authentic set, but it I never thought the fitment would be this bad, my next set will be authentic for sure.

I'm confused - is your pic of the Kiwamis or not? You show them on your car but also said you have 10.5's on order. Does that mean you're replacing all 18x9.5s with 18x10.5's?

Pardon me guys if there was a thread about this already, but i have yet to find the answer to my question.

My question is, in your opinion what will I need to do to make these specs work for me.

20x9.5 +17
20x10.5 +13

Keep in mind I don't know the disk type yet as the person i bought them from wasn't sure either. They ran 20mm spacer up front and a 5mm spacer in the rear, for his aftermarket break setup.

I am aware that if you don't have the correct disk you will need spacers to clear the BBK which if im not wrong are 10mm in the front and 5mm in the rear.

I have the stock s-tune suspension right now and will continue to use that for the for seeable future. I am trying to go for the cleanest look I can get without going stupid on tire stretch, fender roll and by no means am i stretching my fenders.

In your opinions do you think I could get away with the following setup without any drop?

20x9.5 +17 10mm spacer 245/35/20
20x10.5 +13 5mm spacer 265/30/20

any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure about caliper clearance, but I'm fairly sure you'll need to roll your fenders unless you add enough negative camber. And 20s without a drop looks like a monster truck. I'm not a fan of 20s to begin with but you should either reconsider and go with something smaller or lower your car, or both.

i do plan to drop the car in the future but not slam it! the roads here just don't allow for it. I am planning on slight drop to just tighten up the gap but not slam it.

Only way to do an effective negative camber will be through coils, camber arms and toe bolts if i am not wrong?

I want to be able to do this the right way not the wrong way so any advice would be helpful, 19's would be alot easier but im trying to see what the route will alow me.

245/30 should be the target front tire

If the roads are that bad that they don't allow for a significant drop, then 20s are just not a good idea. The correct tire for the front (that terrasmak pointed out) would be a 245/30, which has a 73.5mm sidewall. You're basically begging for your wheels to get bent with that setup on those roads.

I figured 245/30 in the front.

Lets just say i have to be very cautious of the road conditions haha. Buddy slammed his s2000 and rolled the fenders but dorsnt complain about much rubbing. We just dont have the same road quality as the southern USA states.

This setup is going to take some tinkering and i appreciate your input guys.

I wouldn't even go too far without finding the true disc sizes

If it's the wrong disc it will end up looking sunk and no spacer could fix that

they're R-disk up front and O-disk out back according to the vs-xx chart.

you'll need a 5-mm spacer for the fronts to clear OEM brembos.

265/30/20 for a 10.5 is too stretched for my taste... i'd go with 275/30 or even better a 285/30 if you're gonna do 245/35 up front.

I was thinking 245/30 and 275/30 but ill have to see how the dry mount goes to have a good idea how the rubber will fit.
