Those with 18 inch Nismo's

I am getting a set of Silver Nismo's and I believe the offset to be +25 in the front and +30 in the rear and was wondering how flush do they sit to the fender. I have searched and could not find any side pics of the Nismo wheels to see how the offset sits on the Z. Can anyone chime in on how these wheels sit on the Z. I also think these wheels are staggered and what tire sizes you guys run with the 18's......Any pics of the Nismo's 18's would be great.....MC350Z chime in

here are a few quick shots i just snapped. i can get you some more specific day time shots if you want.

to me i think the offset is SO much better than stock. as you guys know the stock wheels look really tucked in

you should run 245/40 18 and 275 40 18 rear my reccomendation would be Potenza S03's

Ok I found out that the guy who is selling me the wheels is running rear Nismo's all the way around since they have the concave look...is this a bad idea and will my VDC or Slip go bizerk with this setup

I have this setup on order and should have the wheels and tires on Wednesday.

Tony at Performance Nissan was running this setup with 275/35R18 up front and 275/40R18 out back. Jason@performance said the VDC was happy. (you can read that here http://www.350zmotoring.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=34533 )

That's funny, its a small (web) world!

OT: I have already RSVPd and am making every effort I can to go to that meet. I am 98% sure I will be there. You're not mad at me or anything are you, I don't want to get there and get popped in the nose.

Chris

LOL No not at all but maybe you can bring that special tool you have to adjust the headlight as my drivers side is kinfa off.....:o

HyperSprite Feb 5, 2006 08:31 PM

I can bring the screw driver but its not going to be much use in the day time.

Waiting for my wheels is killing me, I have had the shipping numbers on my widget since thursday and man ground shipping is uneventful. They get picked up in VA, arrive at UPS, departure scan and then nothing. They could be in Texas right now. Can't they track those trucks with GPS and post a link to where the truck is at all times?

Chris

Roger V Feb 5, 2006 08:57 PM

Ed, those new wheels are going to look hot on your car.

bamyi Feb 5, 2006 09:06 PM

Hey Chris, Glad you're able to get those Nismos. How you get the wife to agree?
