What's Max Stock Rays Wheels Tire Size
 

front is 18x8 w/ 225/45/18, and rear is 18x8.5 w/ 245/45/18

do you think i can use 245/40/18 for front and 275/40/18 for the rear? or is there a better setup. i don't want to use to stock size, i want the tires to be a bit wider. please let me know soon. thank you!

That's what I have.

Yes, won't be a problem on 8 and 8.5s Camn even go 285 in the rear if you wish.

NOTE: On Ray's NISMO and most Ray's Volks like TE37s/SF Challenge/SF Winning's/GTC - 8.5 and 9.5 rear, we strap 285/30 and 315/30.

Can you post pics? Wondering what the tire bulge looks like on the 8.5" rim, since on Nismo 9.5" rims, you typically run 275.

i'm wondering if is ok to run 245/45/18 on the front?? will it look stupid coz the tires too thick on the front? and will it make the speedo meter off by alot? please let me know soon. thank you!

Here is a 285/30/18 on a Nismo 8.5 and a 315/30/18 on a Nismo 9.5. And we do not have show cars, we race them very agressively. This car has 500 WHP at 10.5 PSI on Pump and I am shooting for 800+ WHP this week. Believe me the tires (Pirelli and Mich Cup to be exact) work at this config. Hard to believe yet they do! Road and Track.
