245/40R18's on the front?

Is it possible to rotate the rears to the front and then put 275 to 285 wide rears on the car? All with stock 06' non-track/gt rims.

Will the 245's have enough clearance on a stock front end?

06 Track/GT models have 245/40/18 on the front. I would say yes.
