Nismo LMgt4 vs. Stock Rims vs. TE37's...
I can't find a lot of info about these rims online...
Anyone know the weights/widths of Nismo LMgt4's/ Volk TE37's (18 inch)? I wanna find out if they're lighter then the stock 17's (enthusiast)...and if so by how much...thanks for any help |

I think the TE37s are a little lighter at ~7.5 kilos or ~17lbs.

Buddy club's are 6.7k 18x9 and 7.32k for 18x10.

What are the weights on the ent., per., and track on the factory wheels? If theres not a huge difference Id stick with the factorys, but with some sticky icky tires.

The Nismos look incredible. If they came in 19" sizes i would buy them.

Does anyone know where you could find the price for these wheels? According to Sport Compact Car they should be avalible here in the US now. I haven't been able to find anything on the web on their price and/or avalibility for purchase in the US. Anyone have any info on this? Thanks.

stock 17s are in the low 20s, 18s are in the mid 20s(I weighed them at 26lbs) and the rays are around 18lbs.
remember the 17s are lighter, but they have more rubber to make up for that, I weighed the stock 18" tread, it weighed 28lbs, and its farther from center. so weight of the tread should definitly be considered since it weighs more than the rims in all cases... rims are juts easier to find a light peice, but tires count more, so dont be forgetting more rubber weighs more. TE37s and the nismo rims are gonna be VERY close to each other in weight. both are a good bit less than almost any other 18" rim except gram lites and CE28s. |
