Offsets to clear brembo's

Perhaps my searching skills suck, but what are the minimum offsets to clear brembo's (rear and front). Would +31 clear the rear? thanks!

My RT5s were +29 in the rear and cleared with plenty of room.

I read in another thread +15 to +30 should work, not sure though on +31...

Z's typically range from +20 to +30 depending on the wheel. However, the rear you can use up to +36 offset. You shouldn't have any problems since the rear caliper isn't that big. The front caliper is what you really need to worry about.

Also, just to let you know that it's not about the offset you need for caliper clearance....It's the pad height. Pad height = Height of mounting surface behind the wheel for caliper clearance.

Offset only moves the wheel in or out depending on the offset. So it is possible you can have a low offset wheel but not enough pad height to clear calipers.

Most Japanese wheel manufactures designate their offsets as HIGH PAD, MID PAD, and LOW PAD. "Generally", Z's use a HIGH PAD in the front and LOW PAD in the rear. IF you upgrade to a 4 piston rear caliper then you may need to get a wheel with MID PAD clearance.

For example you can look at this weblink for the VOLK GTM. The "A" column is HIGH pad, "B" column is MID PAD, and "C" column is LOW PAD.

In your case we would use a 19x9.5 +23 Front / 19x10.5 +21 Rear. If you are wondering, yes you can run a 19x10.5 +31 Rear and use a 285/35 tire =P.
