Snow tire size on stock 18's?
 

Recently put rims on my Z and I want to use the stock touring (18x8) rims on her G35c for the winter. Should I stay with the stock tire size 225/45, 245/45 or drop down to something narrower. Not sure if I can go narrower and keep the OEM wheel and tire diameters?

Yes may have a difficult time finding snow tires with a 18-inch diameter. 17-inches is more popular. For snow, thin is in (say 7 inches wide).

You can buy OEM 17-inch wheels on eBay. TireRack also has 17-inch wheels (4) for less than $500. Mustang wheels also fit.

I just got winter tires on the stock Rays 18" in 225/45 and 245/45. I picked the Dunlop Wintersport M3, which seem to be pretty good with a reasonable price.....

I have a set of 4 blizzaks unmounted that are the 18" Stock Z Sizes. PM me if interested - 2 seasons on them but <10kmi. good shape - philly area. (sold the Z over the summer)
