Not for cars equipped with VDC???

I'm looking to upgrade to aftermarket wheels for my car equipped with VDC.
Why do some, including the ptional Nismo wheels, 18' and 19" say it's not for cars equipped with VDC?

some lower models dont have vdc. you can use the nismos with vdc with no issues

I'm not absolutely sure, but I think the VDC is only optimized for the wheel size it is set to, and changing them could mess up its calculations. Like how different tire pressures from each side can mess up some all wheel drive systems.

Wheel size has nothing to do with it; it's tire size that matters.

Nissan is just doing the CYA with that statement. As long as you find tire sizes that keep close to the original diameters and stagger, you won't have problems with TCS/VDC/ABS.
