Was down...I'm back up again! woohoo~!
 

Well, car was down due to being at the paint shop for quite some time. Finally got it back, with then new front bumper cover (pics later), and had the rear wiper shaved.
A few other installs: TS-Engine Damper, Earls SS brake lines, GT-Spec rear bars(Performance Nissan, thanks Andy), RB brake upgrade (front and rear, Thanks MRC). Greddy Oil pan (thanks to DirtyDave). Also, had the gear/trani oil changed along with the brake fluid, thanks to Sharif@Forged for getting that out to me!Was also going to do the GT Spec Ladder but it had to be ordered...Getting ready for Streets of Willow this Friday. Need more time...oh and money too!
So initial impressions:
TS ED-Definitely more vibration felt throughout, but not enough to worry about. I actually like it, as it gives me a better feel for the car. Just MHO. Vehicle feels different, but
Install was about 45mins, simple simon. No specialty tools needed, most well equipped home garages will have what you need.
RB Big "rotor" upgrade:this install was done without the lines, the pedal felt stock, but the stopping was def not.
Install took about 2hours front and rear, most of the time was spent cutting the metal splash guard for the OE rea rotors...used a dremmel and went thru about 10 HD wheels...lol
Again no specialty tools needed, just the 22mm socket for the front, but again most home garages have those.
Earls SS brake lines: These were a little trickier, but nothing major..they fit perfect, just had to flip the bracket that holds the brake line, on the suspension side, and BAM..perfect fit.
Maybe 1.5 hours of total work time, including the bleeding.
This made a differnce in the pedal feel. The brakes feel like the "PERFORMANCE" brakes that they are! AWESOME!
GT Spec rear/lateral bars: this had to be the easiest of all installs! OMG, it took 10 mins to both bars! It took longer to get the car up in air for the compressor to fill than it took to put these on...
This felt in the turns, not that I've been driving hard, but the rear feels a lot stiffer, and better controlled...maybe it's in my head...but thats what counts anyway! lol
Greddy oil pan: straight forward install. take one off, put the new one on. The only issue is I am not turbocharged, so I had to find bolts that fit into the oil drain openings. A few trips to the hardware store, and done. FYI 14mm 1.5, also I cut them down bc they only come in like 4 foot lengths (really only 30mm).
total work time: 25 mins. (sorry no pix)


The brake fluid and Trani/Gear are Motul.
total work time: 35mins.

Front bumper cover, and more pics of the rear wiper shave to come...took them a while, but paint is perfectly matched. That story is to be continued!

I have one more install to do, the Rogue short shifter...still haven't taken the time to find the shifter bushings and spacer, but will do that next week...I'm not scurred! Plus, I'm prolly gonna get a SPARCO shifter knob before the install...

Nice pics, I think you just sold me on the GT spec bar.

Hmmm...sounds like I need to look into this GT Spec bar and see if there's a version that will fit my G35 coupe.

Hey Tech, wasn't able to make it out...Family stuff maybe next time. Did you get your shifter in yet? I've been laggin, lazy is a better word. lol I may have to use the same shifter bushings if I don't find them soon. Did we ever get a PN#?

Vash350z: I think it was a worthwhile investment. I went out to WSIR on the 16th. It was my 3rd time out on the same suspension, 1st time out with the rear/lateral bars. It definitely made a diff in the rear control. Can't wait to see how the ladder bar helps out. I did have some suspension issues that will have to be addressed before my next time out, but overall I really believe those bars helped, wish I could get the front one, but the Greddy oil pan won't let me.

Thanks again Andy at Performance Nissan. Just finished installing the GTspec Ladder brace. Once again, it took longer to put the car up, fill the compressor, and pull out the tools than it did to install it. I can't give any impressions, yet no HPDE anytime soon, still have some suspension issues to work out...but will keep you all updated as soon as there is further info.
It took 10 mins of total work time, on jack stands, on my back, with impact gun.
I "ouched" and "bithced" about my little finger getting caught in the jackstand when I dropped it, than total install time! ...
