I put Vellano VSH's on my cousin's 2007 BMW M6. 22x9.5 4.5 inch dish and 22x10.5 with a 5.5 inch dish. Vellano wheels are definitely top notch in quality, all the way down to the rivets and center caps. T6061 forged aluminum construction on all 3 pieces. Be warned though, theyre VERY expensive!

Yea…the Vellano wheels are defiantly a step above the rest. What is the cost like on these?

Let me put it this way, if you think VOLK wheels are expensive than Vellano's will be way out of your price range. The VSH's I put on my cousins M6 retails for almost 2K per wheel. Standard color is silver or chrome I think and if you want a special color, it costs even more. Im not quite sure what the weight is.

Volk r expensive, and i didn't want a Volk rim because i didnt want to look like every other Z on here( No offense, im jus looking for something Unique) and i know that w/ what i want, im probably looking around 6-7K w/ rims and tires......but....the end result will b worth it...i think!

I agree with you but I think Vellano's are over kill for the Z. I dont think Vellano's fit the look and performance of the Z. Since theyre 3 piece construction, it is also going to be heavy. If you have the money for it, thats great, more power to you bro. Regardless if I can afford Vellano's are not, I wouldnt put it on a Z. If almost 4K in difference is worth it to be "different" than props to you. I still think VOLK's look way better for the Z than Vellano's though. Just my .02.

can you get custom volks in those widths though?

azula Apr 27, 2007 11:10 AM

those wheels are straight pimp, but the weight will prolly be massive, check that out before you purchase....

I will have more pics soon of them off the car and the caftmanship of the wheel. I have had them on my car now for about 4 months and no problems at all (unlike some of the other 3 piece wheels from other companys that I have had on my cars)

Andy@Performance Apr 27, 2007 11:22 AM

Theres no doubt that Vellano wheels are high in quality. If I had a higher end euro or VIP car, Id highly consider Vellano's. On a custom widebody, its not always about width, offset plays a huge factor as well. But to directly answer your question, no, RAYS does not offer custom widths. I have been working closely with the guys from RAYS and Mackin Industries, we do have a project we are working on. Youll see when the time comes.

Some pics of Top Secret widebody's running VOLK wheels....
