Just FYI 9.5 LMGT4's + 295/35/18 tires up front
I just put on a set of 18x9.5 et30 LMGT4's with 295/35/18 Kumho MX tires on the front of my car without rubbing(although it's damn close). I've got 2.6 degrees of negative front camber and could probably get away with a 5mm spacer.

Is that setup for autocross or are you experimenting? Im just wondering why you would need a front tire that wide.

what are your running on the back tires?
|
show us some better pics....im interested

why would you go that big...the steering of the car would be thrown off...along with the power steering pump

I feel sorry for your p/s pump.

I drove it fairly hard on the way to work this morning through the back roads and not a single VDC issue. It's only a 26.1" tall tire so I didn't expect any interference anyway.
This is actually just temporary. I will be replacing all the tires with 255/40 RT-615's in the next few days. After driving with these this morning I can say that the Kumho MX's are LOUD! It sounds like a steam roller, tons of road noise compared to the Bridgestones. I can say that turn in response is way up! http://jtaylor.u24.hosting.thruport....00864_1000.JPG http://jtaylor.u24.hosting.thruport....00865_1000.JPG http://jtaylor.u24.hosting.thruport....00866_1000.JPG These Kumho MX's must run small, because their actual width is just a hair wider than the Bridgestone 275/40's. The 255/40 RT-615's I have are just a little bit narrower than the Bridgestone RE050A 275/40's. |
