I don't know about you guys, but...
despite my '03 being completely stock other than a pop charger and running 255/285 T1-Rs, it is still easy to break them loose without dumping the clutch.
Isn't this tire setup overkill for my car? I would think my car is too underpowered for this setup. I maintain partial throttle under 4k rpm while feathering the clutch to peel out a couple car lengths. To be honest, it was quite enjoyable. :icon17: |

Damnit... I guess I need fatter tires. I couldn't find 295/30 on the T1-Rs, so I stuck with 285/35 and had the fenders rolled a tiny bit.
I have an obsession for fat tires, but I had to set a limit before it becomes too ridiculous for my N/A V6. :icon43: |
Maybe it's the T1's. My 285 PS2s don't spin nearly as much as the OEM tires did. Now I have to make an effort to break them loose.
