When posting picts of wheels, list the specs: Diameter,
PLEASE LIST:
DIAMETER WIDTH OFFSET OFFICIAL COLOR TIRE SIZE & BRAND FENDER ROLL: YES/NO? I've been noticing that people are posting picts of their wheels and tire combos but fail to list the specs. People are BOUND to ask questions, so instead of them PMing the owner, be smart and do it first. PLEASE, when you post picts of your car and wheels list the following: Brand of Wheel along with Width,Diameter, and offset of wheel Brand of Tire and tire size, Front and Rear if different and if you're lowered, list the amount of drop and suspension you're using example: check out my new kicks! http://www.z33driver.com/images/whee...E28N_side2.jpg http://www.z33driver.com/images/whee...28N_front2.jpg They're Volk Racing LE28N, Gloss Black, Polished Lip Front: 19x9.5 +22 and Rear: 19x10.5 +22, Rollin' on Toyo T1R, F: 255/35/19 and R: 275/35/19 Dropped on Zeal Function V6s, about 1.0" all the way around |
Good idea. I'd also like to see people put details about their mods in their sig as well as the User Profile.

Wanted to bump this old sticky thread for a reason.
Let me ask this of new members that post pics of cars with "custom" wheels; that is, anything other than stock. Let's set a good example for all forums and PLEASE post your specs. That is, wheel size (diameter, width & OFFSET) and if you don't mind, suspension lowering (amount dropped) and any other mods to make them fit (rolled/pulled fenders, camber, etc.). Reason I want to reiterate this request: Doing research via Google images to determine if I want to buy a particular car (non-Z in this case) and my obvious first modification - if needed - is always wheels/tires. While the tools are out there to search, finding pics of said cars on nice wheels is easy. But, finding their corresponding wheel specs is sometimes ridiculously cumbersome! Grrrrr. Some have the tire size but no wheel info; others are the other way around, wheel size, no tire size; and too few list the most critical fit aspect: offset. So let's make it easy for anyone searching for Z sizes by posting the info above just as a courtesy to new and prospectively new Z owners. Oh, the other non-Z I'm looking at? Not saying (yet)..... let's just say it starts with the letter "M". |
