yeah, i was a member on hellaflush back when the site first started. then wondered over to fatlace and all the other fitment sites then searched for a similar thread on my350z..and yes i was there on the first page of this thread being created...

whats really funny is how the 350's keep getting lower and wider as the pages went on..

and now whenever i see any kind of modified car it really breaks my heart to see wrong offsets/tire being used... when someone says "i got wheels on my z" im generally like expecting 18-19 x 10 or 11 or low offset or spaced out but theyre usually conservative wheels and i dont hate or anything but the perception of wheel fitment has changed nowadays..

im just glad that knockoff companys cant copy quality designs that run into the 10-12 inch negative/low offsets range..once they do that the offset/baller wheel game is over.

but due to the dimensions and finishes on quality wheels i dont see rota ever making a full chromed out replica of a 19 inch work/ssr/ame/etc etc wheel.

They can copy but most replica companies are trying to make a quick buck. The core of their targeted customers won't go to the extent of having aggressive fitment, so it's not worth it for them to offer.

It's rare for me to see a good set of wheels on a Z nowadays much less, one with insane stance and fitment. This group is still a minority.

+2! following this thread has jacked me up too... I'm on LMGT-4's which were designed for the 350 and I just bought 20MM spacers to flush 'em out. I may do 25MM in the rear depending on clearance. Shame I can't afford to buy some wider wheels. I'd love some 9.5-10.5 or 10-11 set ups. Something with a step lip.... gah!

Damn you all.
