225 would be better, only reason i would go with a 215 is if you needed a serious stretch to fit it, but i doubt you will

and a 255 would probably be better for the rears as well, but thats your call

im not sure if ima do 245's or 255 when i order my 11's, 245s are more common/cheaper

importroller 04-16-2010 12:40 PM

Never liked stretched tires. But love the agressive wheels

evil350zdriver 04-16-2010 12:47 PM

spoolngst....that new drop and smaller tires sure made that G even better!!!!........looking real hard bro!!!!....favorite G so FAR:thumbup:

jacob 350......225 will be cool!...had that on a 9' before and it was a decent stretch.....and 9.5 is just a tad wider!

225 with the offset you have

Jacob350z 04-16-2010 01:12 PM

Ima go with a 225 up front.

One question. Can I fit the 19x11-17 on the rear without a camber kit?? If I pulled the fenders. Guy doesn't have the camber kit in stock and I want these on asap

let me know

soclean 04-16-2010 01:17 PM

Yes you can but your gonna have to pull your fenders a good amount and dump your car so it can camber itself

Yes you do! Don't worry after the riders course, everything else will be a breeze. I started out with a 600cc and only rode that for 3 weeks then had to jump onto a 1000cc cause it was way too slow haha

Sweet can't wait!

How long did you think it would take haha??

Spoolngst, car looks killer as always pimpin!!

lixam 04-16-2010 02:25 PM

your gonna have to dump the car so the stock camber arms can "allow" you to get more camber...either that or pull the fender a **** ton...

i got 18x11 -17 in the rear and i pulled moderately and running 4 degree of camber and i rarely rub at all..BUT i am lowering a lil bit more in the rear and making camber about 4.7 so it should be flush/tucked/low..

but id say moderate pull... low pro tire...4 degree of camber and low...and you should be ok.

lixam 04-16-2010 02:27 PM

and i have a 245/40 on the rear..

general rule of thumb for an equal stretch all around is for every 1 inch of difference in rim you wanna go with 20 difference in tire width...FOR EXAMPLE.

10 inch up front. 225/40
11 inch in rear. 245/40

10 inch in front. 225/40
12 inch in rear. 265/40...

9 inch in front. 215/40
10 inch in back. 235/40..

this will give you even stretch/size...up to you on actualy sizing though..but its an easy formula alot of people dont know of lol

Jacob350z 04-16-2010 02:31 PM

Nvm got some camber arms comming in. Had to pay a little extra :(.

Hope I can get these on by next weekend. Still need to order my tires

deeznutts23 04-16-2010 02:33 PM

brandon3434 04-16-2010 04:38 PM

^^^That looks perfect man! Love it! Do you rub at all? Specs?

Toby-22 04-16-2010 04:48 PM

My fenders sometimes hit the lip of my wheels and my a-arms still hit the frame of the car but not nearly as bad as before.

Square setup
19x10.5 +12 front with 235/35 and -6 rear with 245/35

I may go with 265/35 front and 275/35 rear with my next setup.

You think there is enough room for that? Or are you gonna add more camber? I'm looking at some 10.5 +0's, was thinking 265's...

Toby-22 04-16-2010 05:22 PM

no if i put the 275 ill be at +12 or maybe +7 out back (or i may stay with where im at now). And im not too sure that 265/35 will work, if it does it'll be real tight lol.

Jacob350z 04-16-2010 05:22 PM

ok decided not to get the rear arms, ill make it fit without them for now.

i had to order 2 different sets of tires sold out and back order from the place i order from lol.

2 225/35/19 Federals up front
2 245/35/19 General in rear.

haha o well shits going to be baller!

deeznutts23 04-16-2010 05:26 PM
