Hey guys im thinking about changing my wheel setup and want some opinions.. Im looking at some 19x10 -12 and 19x11 -12 Work Rezax for my Z and was wondering if anyone thinks i can run 40 series tires instead of 35 series and still get away with it? The reason why im considering 40 or 35 is cause im sure im gonna have to go pretty low to pull it off but i dont want to risk cracking or loosing my carbon fiber veilside front lip or TS rear diffuser in the process so im trying to keep the car off the ground as much as i can but still tuck tire alteeast a little bit to make it look right.. Any suggestions on how to do so? Not sure what width of tire to run with that setup either.. 225 front and 235 or 45 rears? Thanks in advance guys!
(im running Volk GT-C's in 19x9.5 +24 Fronts and 19x10.5 +22 Rears right now.)

In my opinion I would not run a 40 series tire on a 19, You will not be happy with the look.. You will be fine with the 35 series. The only thing you will have to worry about is the front lip but the TS rear diffuser will be fine.. Hope that helps some.

I agree with Edafe, definitely don't do 40 series on 19s, that will look ghey.

Perfect that looks great jd714! Your wheels are the same exact specs just a half inch wider on all four wheels so it would look somewhat similar except my car is pikes peak white. So how hard was it to make it fit? Is it necessary to run a 215 to make it clear in the front or could you run a 225 and would you change anything about your tire setup the second time around?
Also what kinda camber are you having to run all around to make it work cause i just have coilovers on natural camber right now and im wondering if i will need to buy front upper a-arms and rear camber links or can just make it work without them?
Thanks again guys for all your replys! This helps a ton before i go and spend a lot of money lol

if you're going to run widths bigger than 10" and offsets lower than +10, i'd HIGHLY suggest getting camber arms(F/R) just for the hell of it. i'd say its a must have once you go that aggressive.
