I ran a 225/35 on my 9.5 last summer and it was a mild stretch for sure. I did think about running it on the 10.5 as well, but wasn't sure how the stretch would be. Hard to tell to tyrestretch and other sites.
Its an ongoing thing , I want things faster than I can afford to buy them. I'm sure as we all do. But little by little, my list of to do's exceeds, my Bank Account. LOL
Hi sorry to bump old threads but everyone does it and I'm having a huge problem trying to find tires. I'm trying to put a 215/35 on a 19x9.5 and a 235/35 on 10.5 iafter searching for days I finally found the falken azenis 453 but the load index is 85y for the 215. Has anyone ever run a smaller load index than what is recommended? Im already stretching tires so dont flame me on safety just give me an answer. These are the only tires I can find in the size I want so any help or linking other tires with a 215/x and 235/ and proper load would be awesome!

I wouldn't say this is an old thread, there is still quite a few people that post in here. Second to that, i honestly have never looked at the load index for tires in all the years. Third, why would we flame you for stretching tires? That is the thread you're in....
I do have to say though, you better be freaking slammed to pull off such small tire sizes.

The load index is for PROPER fitment wheels and tires. Since you are stretching by A LOT, you would need a higher load index that what is recomended. So i would not get those.
But then again... i wouldnt be stretching my tires...

lol yea, i run stretched tires. Look back a few pages you will see my set up from last year. This next year i am running 19x10.5F and 19x11.5R
You can be pretty low and now have to run such a wild stretch. Post a pic of your car. I ran 225/35 on a 9.5 front and a 245/35 on a 11 rear this past year.

Here's a pic of my car, right now I'm running a more meaty fitment and with my new wheels hope to go for the stretched look because I don't like how far they stick in right now (9.5 +12 and 10.5+12) I'll prob run a set of 30mm spacers so thought the amount of stretch I wanted would be good.
Looked through some of this thread again, what's the width/offset requirement for inner suspension clearance on a 19"? I'm looking at a set of 19x11+18 fronts and I know that will be close. Anyone have a reference for what makes contact vs what doesn't? I can do the math to convert to 11s...

Using the handy calculator on our site and my current wheel specs, you will need a 5mm spacer to clear up front with those wheels
Sorry for any ignorance. If my question can easily be answered elsewhere please point me in the right direction. So I'm about to get new rims and tires and am trying to figure out what widths and offsets I need to go with. I want to run 19 inch rims and am looking for an aggressive Fitment. However, I plan on keeping my camber low around 2.5ish and only rolling my fenders. What kind of rim widths and offsets am I gonna be looking at to make it sit flush?
Check out rimtuck.com it depends on how wide tire you want to run you could do a 19x10 and 19x11 with an offset like +20 or 9.5 and 10.5 with maybe a 0 but check out that site you'll get better comparisons
