What's a reasonable price to pay

What's a reasonable price to pay for a set of Factory used GT wheels with Tires (18" front, 19" rear)? They're rarely for sale on the used forums so it's hard to get an idea of what they should go for.

im with david on this one most will try to sell for alot more but i wouldnt pay much over 500

For OEM wheels, Rays wheels are most in demand. I have seen them sell for $800/4.

You will pay what the seller demands, so long as the 2 of you are in agreement on the pricing. Somewhere between $500.00 - $800.00 depending on how bad you want em, also check ebay I think the prices are higher than these prices.

$500 maybe for the OEM 18's not for the staggered GT's they go for much more, Ive seen some for $1200, I agree that the 18" all around for ~500 is a descent price but for the ones you mention, theyre more 800-1000 I think would be very good

Shorlaw2004 Feb 8, 2008 05:07 AM

That seems a little more in line with the few sets I have seen for sale, although I'll gladly take them off someone's hands for $500.:) I was trying for a set the other day, with decent tires, but he wouldn't go below $1900.

If anyone knows of a more reasonably priced set for sale though, I'm a motivated buyer.

uhhhhh.....NO. Not even close. :icon22: Don't confuse the forged Rays with the standard OEM 5-spoke.

The factory GT wheels sell for at least 3 times what every one of you have suggested. Search the Wheels For Sale section, I have no IDEA where you guys think you will find a set of GT wheels for $500.

Expect to pay $1500-$2200 for a set of GTs, depending on condition and if they have tires mounted or not. And they do NOT go for sale very often.

if im gonna spend 1500 bucks on wheels it wouldnt be something that i coulda gotten factory is really the only reasoning. That and to me theres about 100 aftermarket wheels i could get for 1500 or a little more that look 100 times better then stock rays.

All in the eyes of the beholder I guess, but there isn't a whole lot of sub-$1500 wheel/tire combos that I personally think look that great. Besides, you will have a biatch of a time finding any aftermarket forged wheels in that price range, which is really the big draw.

I personally like to retain a clean OEM-style look, and I think the GTs look damn fantastic.
