I f'ed up the order

Not sure what I was thinking here but I have stock wheels 18x8.0 F and 18x8.5 rear and I ordered 265/35/18 & 295/35/18 which I received today which really knocks home how much wider they are

My question is should I even try to run these on my stock wheels?
You think the 265/35/18 up front would be ok to run?
I could buy some rims to accommodate the size but but I hate to do the after market wheels because of the tps and I haven't even looked into wheels/prices.

Anyways, give me some options

no i wouldnt even try bro put them up for sale if you can get most of your money out of them. They will handle horribly and look even worse good luck though.

stein Feb 8, 2008 02:57 PM

Ok, someone point me to some wheels deals!

Damn it!

Get_Zwole Feb 8, 2008 03:00 PM

haha whats your flavor? what kinda wheels you thinkin? vivid has a killer sale goin on some axis wheels not to expensive but still look good if you ask me. You could contact subydude too he has great deals on rotas the work emotion kai look alikes they look good and for around 900 bucks for 4.

I'm looking for something that is gunmetal 5 spoke and a chrome/shinny lip.

Get_Zwole Feb 8, 2008 03:05 PM

humm im trying to think of something similar in an 18... bump for some other replys though. ill see what i can dig up.

saberphx Feb 8, 2008 03:08 PM

I would avoid shiny lips on 18's because they will look very undersized. A nice monoblock one color rim would look 100 times better IMO.

I have another question; will they be able to remove the tps and remount them on the new rims?

What do you all think of these?

I dont dig those at all. You really should be the one to decide though, it is after all your car. Get what you like.

Other than not liking the style, how are the offsets?

MR_X Feb 8, 2008 03:31 PM

you can't go wrong with a set of Nismo's.

offsets seem a little more in line I think. First one was line +40 on the rear
