This is what I want to do to my Maya's...
I had a poll about what to do with my Maya STM's, most people voted refinish/leave them alone, well this is what I would like to do after I install my V2 Front and save some money. Powdercoat them all black but the center caps, and put a red pinstripe on them. I think it would be original and nobody else would have em.
Here are the links to a porsche that has a setup of i-forged like this http://iforged.com/press/feb7/996redlip.jpg http://iforged.com/press/feb7/996redlipr.jpg just scroll down this page http://iforged.com/press/feb7/feb7.php My car is chrome silver, here is one pic... http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/f...s21/WHEELS.jpg |
No! They're beautiful as is. The whole Time Attack/Raven style has gone far enough...

You could see the Time Attack paint scheme being played out from a mile away (itself a copy of a Spoon style from the early 90s). If you haven't seen homemade jobs done on Hondas by now, then you aren't opening your eyes.
My opinion: don't do it to those Mayas. You'll end up making them just blend in with every other wheel painted like that. I think very few would look at your wheels and say "wow, I haven't seen Mayas painted that way before" with the great majority of people saying "there's yet another person with black spoke/red lip wheels". Do what makes you happy, but that's my two yen. |
Don't do it!
what if you get tired of the time attack look............they look great now dont do it. |
